Mt. Kisco Diner reviews
12Horrible service. Our food sat in the window forever and when it was finally brought out, the plates were scorching hot. The waiter thought it was a great idea to hand my wife her plate burning her hand. I'll never darken this place's door again in my life.
Busy spot so nice to go at an off hour. Love the short ribs dinner. Usually great service.
Really enjoy this diner. They have creative dishes and I have not had to wait to be seated. My daughter and I love coming here! She loves the fried Mac and cheese. French toast is delicious.coconut shrimp hits the spot.
I found the mt kisco diner on instagram and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s absolutely delicious definitely worth the 1hr 1/2 drive
The food was fine, but the people who worked there didn't care enough for the customer.
It's The Best Diner around. We live at least 20 minutes north, but it's a pleasure. We know when we get there, it's only going to be fantastic!
My multiple experiences at this place were outstanding! This place is suitable for any time of the day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They name a wide variety of foods for you to try, pancakes, tacos, salads, etc. The food quality is great however, brilliance takes time. I think the longest they've left us waiting is probably 50 minutes. I never got alcohol from there (mainly because I'm underage), however I do believe they sell it however I cannot confirm whether or not it's worth it. My go to meal from there is: NY style with brioche instead of pretzel bun and waffle fries (THERE SO GOOD) instead of sweet potato fries. Like I said they don't care if you customize the meal, for example at other places they'd let me order the food, but they'd usually give me a stink eye and give attitude. The desserts are nothing special. The ice cream is store bought and dessert is useless because half their menu are desserts anyway. HOWEVER, probably the best thing on the whole menu is the one and only. COOKIE SKILLET. These people KNOW how to make a good damn cookie, massive skillet topped with a good ol' glob of heavens ice, served on a 24k carrot gold pallet (not actually). The people are always so nice and welcoming and always take their job seriously. For example, I ordered a strawberry milkshake (ALSO BOMB) however my sister didn't like the canned whipped cream, so they went out of their way to make freshly whipped cream just for her. I honestly was expecting them to just sell it with no cream but no they did the best they could to please her.
It was a typical diner atmosphere which I really like. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was one of the best I've had in a long time very satisfying, my wives food was excellent and my granddaughter said it was the best chicken soup ever. Our waiter was pulling a disappearing act throughout the evening but he was acceptable.
Indulgent and excessive (depending on what you get) but that's why you're going. Great service and amazing over the top food.
An upscale diner with an impressive menu. A little something for every palate.
Breakfast all day for those who want it.
Super shakes and great sandwiches.
This place is an experience. You must try if ever in the area but bring your wallet with some cash.
Overhyped, interesting food on the menu but the food sound better coming out of your mouth and going into it. Also never ordered turkey bacon or sausage is disgusting
