MTA Headquarters, New York NY

MTA of New York is one of the best transportation networks in the world, but minus one star for lack of cleanliness, delays (mainly due to the old signals), and not exactly the best frequency (with an exception on some lines, in particular, a very frequent one is the L). I still think that there is room for improvement, but it's an amazing way to get around NYC and it only keeps getting better.

MTA y'all needs to do better with the train service yall are making people late for work or something important we have to do

Get rid of MTA subway forever! Worthless, useless public transportation in the world! It took 3 hours from from jfk airport to kings hwy area. Trains don’t run on time EVER buses never come these people can’t run the metro north and Long Island railroad only two stars because without it the city would suck with traffic only thing worst is subway in poor country’s

Worst service ever. They are ZERO. They don't respect the passengers.liars They put time on the screen and the train comes in a different LATE time. VERY LATE every day and especially every morning.
I highly DON'T RECOMMEND it.
The mayor has to do something about it.

As long as you don’t expect (1) to know if you’ll board a train, (2) what train you’re boarding, (3) which direction the train is going that you would potentially board, (4) want to get anywhere outside of central Manhattan, (5) want to get anywhere when other people want to get somewhere, (6) want to get anywhere comfortably, and absolute WORST of all (7) want any update on anything whatsoever ever (good luck with that 1950s broken intercom MTA well done), then you’re good to go; but yes; free (ish) and safe (ish.

Very stupid system. Paid on the bus and got a so-called ticket. Wanted to transfer a train. That ticket can’t allow me to get on the train. Ppl at the station always say we should not get charged again. But we always get charged. Even we told them that’s what will happen, they won’t open the door for us.

This is the worst public transport system in the world. Trains arrive early, late or don’t arrive at all, making your commute totally unpredictable. No wonder why so many people choose a 1-2 hr driving commute over the MTA trains…

MTA NYC incredible the poor planning, poor service and lack of respect, 81 East station entrance of the subway and exit of the American Museum of Natural History, people paying for the ride on the subway (Sunday 5 o'clock) going down the stairs with children and waiting for the train to arrive to be told by other passengers that it was no service, the logical thing to do is have an employee advising the people (mainly tourist) that there was no service, at the entrance, avoiding the caos and confusion.

Random delays and cancellations. No day or 24hr ticket. Uniformed staff ignore and walk by bodily fluids, excrement, and safety violations. This serves the richest city in the world.

How does it work that I follow the schedule, come to the station even earlier and this “amazing, fresh, contemporary, new” train already left? Next one is 15 minutes away! Want to take a car - gonna go nuts while parking, want to take a train - gonna be eaten by a rat or get old while waiting for the train among the rust infrastructure! I think people get more irritated on their way to work with MTA every day than they do on the actual work during the day

The MTA is a terrible service that cards little for anyone. All they care about is stealing as much money from people as possible while underpaying their staff and keeping their services late. They don't care because they know people depend on them. Awful company and service.

PEOPLE ARE NOT WEARING THEIR MASK ON THE BUSES OR TRAINS, ITS REALLY RIDICULOUS. SO INWENT TO THE CITY BY BUS ON 09/26/2021, RIDER'S WERE EITHER WITH NO MASK AT ALL OR THEIR MASK UNDER THEIR CHIN. I AM SICK OF HUMANS AND IM SO OVER THEM. DO YOU BELIEVE THE BUS DRIVERS ARE WEARING THEIR MASK UNDER THEIR CIN TOO (SAD VERY SAD) THEY ARE NOT THINK ABOUT THEIR FAMILIES. I WAS ON THE B49, B15, B42, B39 TO GET TO MANHATTAN PEOPLE ARE NOT WEARING THEIR MASK THE POLICE NOT WEARING MASK, BUS DRIVER UNDER HIS CHIN. B15 BUS #5875 2.05pm heading to Manhattan. One of the other drivers too didn't get to write his number down

In every other country trains run every 3 to 5 minutes. Even New Delhi, considering its extreme overload, has better metro system than MTA. I hope one day board and executives of MTA realize how much overpaid you guys are with that fat amount of money you strip away from struggling working class!
