First and foremost very tasty food options. Solid coffee as well! Been a while since my last visit but I try to drop by whenever I'm in NYC.

The food, iced coffee, and mimosas were delicious. Food came out quickly and the wait staff was really kind. We sat in the back patio area - cute place with exposed brick and outdoor fans

Just ok. Small portions for the price. Fixed menu / leaves no room for table-cakes. Seriously, who goes out to breakfast and Doesn't order pancakes for the table? !

Oh and no Bloody Marys, mimosa or beer with your breakfast only.

The hostess was a little confusing. She said 15 minutes then after it was 25 after we waited 15 minutes.

I found a plastic in my french toast and they just gave me a new one:/

Great place, consistently great food, go there all the time. One thing that needs attention and comes up upon almost every visit: Wait lines are very mismanaged, I have never seen a business not manage this part of the business this badly we are tired of explaining to your customers that “this is a coffee line”. Just put a sign by the door: table line to the right, coffee pick up to the left. Yes it’s this easy. Will 5 star it once fixed:)

I had a chai latte and the French breakfast. Both were a 10/10 and the atmosphere was cool.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. It’s really beautiful inside and a lot of lovely details make you feeling like home. Loved the grilled cheese, and the welcoming and professional staff. The coffee is great, too. I actually can very recommend their own coffee. Thank you, MUD, I ll be back!

Great outdoor seating for brunch! They have a really fun brunch special where each dish comes with 2 drinks! So, come uncaffeinated and hungry:) Their coffee is amazing, and their mimosas aren’t bad too. I loved their huevos rancheros whereas their avocado sandwich and french toast were pretty good.

We came here for brunch and chose the menu with mimosa and coffee with our main dish. It was a good price and food was delicious, simple and fresh. I love that they don’t have the super typical dishes you find at other popular brunch places. They put a spin on classic dishes too that I enjoyed.
The section we were sitting in was quite dark but the ambiance was good.
Overall, I would go back to try different dishes.

Coffee is delicious & the place has really good vibes. The back patio is gorgeous. Overall a little overpriced, but it’s NYC so what do you expect.

Just leaving this review here to remind myself to go to McDonald’s next time.

French breakfast was just scrambled egg between two pieces of bread. No seasoning no flavor.

Very nice cafe. If I lived in NYC, I would most definitely come back.
Sourdough French toast is one of the best French toasts I have ever had. Maple bacon sandwich was also good, even the potatoes were tasty.
I also liked the vibe and the service was pretty professional.

Excellent chai, but overpriced. 7$ for a small! False pricing online. Does anyone know the recipe? Otherwise great (mud) spot.

Our favorite brunch place - really good coffee, amazing food and such a characteristic place.

This is my favorite place for coffee and breakfast. Don’t mean in NYC, I mean on the entire planet! We come to the city a few times every year, and come to Mud every single day we’re here. Here’s why:

The food is incredible. The banana pancake, oatmeal, home fries, all of it, fantastic and huge portions (I’m 6’4” and 220 and I sometimes can’t finish everything)

The coffee is perfect

The staff is friendly, kind, happy and cool. Just great human beings

Go to Mud. Don’t go when we’re in town because I don’t want to wait for the deliciousness, but for the love of God go to Mud.

MUD has the best coffee in New York! What an awesome vibe too, in an old brownstone with a gorgeously grungy back patio. Huge thank you to Grant for being an outstanding and friendly server! I'd give 10 stars if I could.
