They are the only company handling the "easy valuations" for Fannie Mae and they do not have adequate coverage to be able to complete the orders. Not sure how a company with 1 star in reviews and no coverage just outside a major US city gets this gig from fannie mae. Judging by there reviews and my experience I would stay far away from this company

Sketchy place. The management is unresponsive and they encourage you to go onto people's property without getting their permission. The pay is low and the mileage reimbursement is far below the recommended average.

Just recently had to have an inspection on our property for insurance and they requested this company. The woman who came to my house wasn’t very professional and quite unpleasant, the report she gave my insurance almost caused me to have to get new insurance. I took a few simple photos and had their entire inspection overturned. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR ALLOW THEM IN YOUR HOME. REQUEST A DIFFERENT INSPECTOR. Thankfully my entire home is and was on camera. I HAVE PLENTY OF PROOF AND WILL BE FILING MORE COMPLAINTS ELSEWHERE.

Sent a spanish speaking cx as a referral since he is out of the area in florida that our inspectors work within, mueller misinformed the customer and took his money and after a week of waiting for the inspection decided to than tell the cx they dont provide the inspections he asked for, if you are a homeowner looking for a mitigation please be aware that mueller does not offer this service and was told by a rep that they dont work with customers, terrible service dont recommend there is plenty of small biz inspectors that work more honestly than this national company.

Do not apply or hire.
Job lacks any sort of OTJ training, when asked if I could have someone help me in the field I was told I was the only employee in my district and couldn't send anyone.
All of the training is handled in 3 days of PowerPoint presentations then your on your own by someone with your only contact being someone who lives out of state and doesn't understand dangerous winter weather conditions in the Midwest.
They forgot they hired me and didn't give me any cases for the first 2 weeks I was employed.
While I was still in my first 2 weeks of training they upped me to commercial training with one 2 hour PowerPoint presentation and a 40 question quiz that I didn't need to pass or fail on in order to start inspecting commercial properties.
Paychecks were late and didn't even cover gas for the small amount of cases I'd get assigned 2 hours away from home in either direction.
They do not cover repairs or upkeep to your vehicle so if you get a flat, need an oil change, or get into an accident it's on your dime.
These are unacceptable standards to have people insure businesses and homes and unacceptable training standards for working under.
Do not hire or work for these people.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever worked for. Devastated that I have allowed them to use and abuse me just because I need a job. Have asked for a raise for 7 months, and the answer is "it's been approved but it takes 6 weeks to go through out HR department. " What a lie. I feel so degraded.

I started working for mueller about 2weeks ago. I like the job so far but I wish the trainer and area manager would answer me back through texts/ email. There’s so many things that wasn’t included in training that I need help with. Recently, the phoenix app wouldn’t let me complete cases because of an error. I am lost on what to do and don’t know who to contact about this.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The appraiser had to come out to my seller's listing twice because they didn't capture all the photos they needed. They took forever to produce an appraisal report. When they did produce it they did not account for the "OWNED" Solar in their evaluation. I produced two documents proving that the solar is in fact owned, they still have refused to adjust their evaluation. If you are an agent and you see Mueller Services come across to perform the appraisal, request another company.

I work here and do a quick, accurate & profession job in 20 mins or less. There's 148 bad reviews and none of them good bc ppl usually only go out their way when they're so angry and want to 'get back' I work over 180 cases a month and 99% go well. Happy New Year Yall!

I've worked for this company for 2 years now. After reading all these 1 star reviews of the effects of our reports on the policy holders, it makes me question if working for this company is helping or hurting people. Training has gotten a lot better over the last year. I have reached the top tier as FR. We are given forms to fill out & if we do not add the hazards ourselves, QA will add them afterwards. So, either way the hazards are put on there based on the pictures taken. It seems to benefit the wealthy more then the poor. If people have any trash or yard liabilities I would recommend keeping your yards clean or at least away from the house. So it's not shown in pictures. If you have any house condition concerns, get them fixed asap. I'm putting this out there to hopefully help people not get their insurance cancelled. We are required to call 3 times before we close out a report. If it is closed out, it can be reopened if communication is established with the Policy holder for an appointment. I hope this helps people to understand how this company works & what they look for when they do a property survey.

I have worked for the company since December 2020 and have seen how crooked they really are. We are trained to not disclose the Mueller Reports so policy holders think we are from Citizen property Insurance. Look up the case Stephanie Ritchie vs Mueller Reports. This company will find any problem with your house to raise your premium in order for their relationship with the insurance company to grow stronger. Very crooked company, you’re pretty much working for a glorified Uber eats since you’ll never meet another co-worked in person. Id recommend this job if you are okay with not having growth and job security.

If I could give zero stars I would. Trust the reviews! And if your insurance company requests this company to inspect your home ask if they will send someone else! At the beginning of the month I set my appointment for this morning Oct. 20th 9am, having to take time off work because they are not flexible with their work hours. I got a call Oct. 15th confirming my appointment. This morning I wait and wait and wait only for the guy to never show, and when I called and asked what was going on he said he messed his schedule up and wanted me to reschedule my appointment for the 31st and take more time off work to accommodate him, even though it was his mess up. Absolutely not. Guess I'll have to be looking for a new insurance company.

This is the inspection company that Citizens uses to rely on accurate reporting for potential hazards. I don't think they realize that anything they mark "wrong" on a report will result in Citizens requiring the customer to "fix" the issue even though there isn't an issue. They need to stop being so quick to mark something as hazardous or wrong because it's causing a lot of upset. As an insurance agent who manages Citizens policies, it puts them in a very difficult place when they have to tell a customer that they have to pay for a licensed professional to come out to their house just to write something up saying there was no hazard. If you're going to be an inspection company who is relied on by a major home insurance company, your inspectors need to be better trained on what is a potential hazard and what isn't.

Had to dump my insurance company, Cabrillo Coastal/Cab Gen because they used this company. No claims and no issues but it was constant problems because of this Mueller company. Switched to progressive thru Geico and everything has been fine for the past two years. If your insurer uses this Mueller cut your losses and find one that doesn't. It was save you so much aggravation.

Your company lacks customer service skills and your insurance inspectors need to get facts straight!

I am a licensed home inspector as well as insurance adjuster. I saw an ad on indeed that this company was looking for inspectors. I sent my résumé and they reached out to me and told me that I would be having a online interview. They scheduled the time. I went online at the scheduled time of the interview and was quite surprised as there was one gal performing the interview, It appeared she was in her home and was doing the interview from her bedroom. She came across as very unprofessional

To my surprise and amazement, I found that there were Multiple people being interviewed at the same time. The whole thing seemed very fishy and unprofessional.

After the interview I never heard anything back from them. I sent out an email asking about the status and if someone would be contacting me for more information. Never heard a thing back.

I have since read multiple reviews and almost all of them are negative. Their Better business bureau record is also very poor.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

Just wanted to add to this review, several days after I left this review explaining my experience with this company, I didn’t get a email from them telling me that the interview process is over and that I have not been chosen for a position with their company. How ironic. Maybe they should think more about reaching out to people before they leave a negative review. Once again, do your research about this company. And you will find that is not a place you want to pursue.

Joseph from Mueller report visited my home and did home inspection. He wrote no thermostat, sensor and camera. He must have been blind. His visit would still be in my camera. Did not even go to room with Thermostat or Water sensor. Why do insurance company use this third party vendor!

I’ve been an employee for a little over a month and let me tell you it’s a mess! 9+hrs of training that doesn’t even prepare you for the job on top of them expecting you to complete surveys in 16 minutes! The app they have you use doesn’t provide an accurate address half the time so expect to be looking for the house your surveying, To make matters worse any concerns you have fall on deaf ears but they will gladly assign more work (sometimes out of Your territory)
