Mulligan's Pub reviews
19We visited NYC for our first wedding anniversary this past weekend. Cold, sore and weary from the constant rain and some shoe malfunctions, we stopped at Mulligan’s for our anniversary dinner. They were short staffed but still so friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious and the drinks were cold and refreshing. Gave us the perfect pick me up after a long couple days sightseeing in the rain. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the city!
Great burgers in a pub with typical Irish atmosphere, good selection of draft and bottled beers, fabulous guiness! Prompt and courteous service, good value for money! Recommended!
My husband and I grabbed dinner here while visiting NYC for a doctor's appointment. Very nice atmosphere with friendly patrons and the Irish fellow working the bar was delightful! Our burgers were VERY delicious and the fries were good also. Drinks were good and cold. Someone else we met said the wings were really good too. We will visit again when we get back up to NYC.
Felt little expensive. Also, they were in rush I felt to let us go! Which I personally didn't like at all!
Average irish midtown pub. Bathrooms are terrible.
Drinks are good and fairly priced.
Had the Shepard's Pie with a piece of plastic (corner of a plastic bag) in the meat, which is what it tasted like (straight out of a bag with no flavor and grease).
First time in NYC, we found ourselves looking for a cool, chill place to relax after walking a ton. We hit the jack pot walking into Mulligans. We ended up there the next night as well. Great drinks, great food, great staff. Loved it.
There weren't many people but we were well served. The food is very good and the portions generous.
Super friendly staff. Blue cheese burger and the soft pretzel were excellent. Fun atmosphere watching basketball and hockey
Great little spot. Servers were friendly and accommodating, food was good, that's about what I'm looking for in a restaurant. 10/10 would return.
Great place to catch up with friends. A little loud with the games on, however, still a nice place to spend the evening.
It's like a lot of other Irish bars in NYC. Friendly waitstaff tho. Nice accents lol.
During the day the service is great. The waitresses are very kind and upbeat. Recommend the shepherds pie.
A great evening at Mulligan's bar. Thanks to Emma who is an adorable waitress, overflowing with good vibes and who made us feel at home.
The atmosphere is great, a bar as we like them. First bar in NYC where we could drink a real pint of beer!
In terms of food, the blue burger was excellent and the Nachos to die for. Hearty and seasoned dishes.
Thanks to the whole team and thanks again to Emma who was absolutely great.
Léa and Julien, the French on Wednesday May 17.
Took forever for a single drink and even if i got coffee took forever for bartender to come back and refill my cup. I sat at the bar cause my friend was there that i was meeting already. I ate the fish and chips. They were ok. Needed more coffee like 3 times and it took forever to get some. Mid day afternoon ish. And probably 3 people on one end of the bar and 2 to the left of me. And my friend and i. Service was a wait. Even for a menu for food. But food didn't take long to come out. I ordered something fast on purpose the fish and chips. Fry it and get it to my belly as soon as possible.
Had a quick drink before a function down the street. The bartender was quick and attentive even as the bar became more busy.
5 stars bc the waitress is totally easy going and right on top of checking to see if you need a refill, they have a happy hour, and it’s the least obnoxious place in midtown by a long shot. Thanks for being a sanctuary in the midtown hellscape!
Great pub, good service, decent prices. The fish and chips were excellent.we are visiting NYC and leave tomorrow, wish we'd found it sooner!
