Murphy's Law, New York NY

I stopped here for what I hoped would be a quick to go lunch. I put my order in online and when I got there I still waited 30 minutes to get my order. When I got there no one acknowledged me for quite a while and I asked to pay while waiting to save some time but they also didn’t follow up on that. So then I was left rushing around to get back to work and eat in time. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries. It was OK. Definitely not my favorite. It had huge chunks of celery in it. Which I don’t typically mind but they were so big it was a little overwhelming. The fries were good though!

Went to trivia here tonight (not our first time). They have a two drink minimum when you have a reservation for trivia night. Our server dropped off a check (without us asking) within a few minutes of the last trivia round and a $20/person fee was added for each person who had not ordered a second drink yet. We alerted the server we were not done ordering drinks, but were told it was too late as trivia had ended. We received no warning prior we were going to be penalized for not yet ordering a second drink. Also a $20 pp fee is quite excessive given drinks here run $10.

The environment is not bad. Drinks are moderately priced. There is a happy hour every day until 7pm. It is especially advantageous that it is close to where I work and live. If you are in this area you can stop by, but don't wait too much.

Good space, fun trivia, very Very expensive. $17 for bad tasting nachos. $10 for a side of fries.glad the staff was nice though.

Food was okay but overpriced, service was really unpleasant. Was pressured to order more than we wanted and we missed the happy hour time by 2 minutes even though we were talking to the server about getting something from the happy hour menu before the time ended. She said because we took time to decide after talking to her, we wouldn't be able to get the deal, which was quite unreasonable. It was really uncomfortable eating there after the whole ordeal. I would not recommend this place to others and do not intend to visit again.

Great neighborhood and after work spot. Catch a game, talk, laugh and enjoy. Nice crowd, live music on Friday nights. Excellent food. Reasonable prices and awesome specials. Clean and well lit yet still a nice ambiance. Always a pleasure.

Does not reply to emails, having major issues with the bar itself the people working there are very mean and do not welcome you as a customer, I want to talk with the manager about this they do not even reply to emails it has been 3 weeks now still no reply, I am surprised this s***hole still exists. I would not recommend you going here

The new and much improved Crispy chicken sandwich is a must! They changed the bun and and the chicken is perfectly crispy and tasty highly recommended! Staff is always warm and welcoming will be back soon!

Came here for happy hour, and brought the newborn to hang out with us outside. There was a large group of ten to our left and a group of three to our right. The ambiance was great for a late afternoon hangout. I ordered a French onion soup and we had an order of fries to go along with our drinks. Service was good, fast and welcoming.

Authentic NYC Irish Pub. Many screens broadcasting, world cup soccer, formula 1 racing, Mets, March Madness and plenty more. Shephard Pie, wings, and other expected pub fare is tasty and filling. Those who complain pricing don't get out much. Great bartenders. Great beer selection.

No idea why it took me so long to discover this great pub in the neighbourhood! I love a good, cozy Irish local vibe. Extensive menu. Very affordable drinks, of which my favourite so far is the Apple Ivy Smash. Haven't got around to checking out the trivia nights yet but it's on my list.

Only thing bad is the lack of funds in the pocket.clean friendly and near all medical care places top of the nation

A great local pub serving the usual bar fare but exceeds expectations with their service. Ryan, John, Matt, Denise, and Juan are always welcoming and quick with the drinks. A great place to catch the game or to catch up with your mates!

A real pub atmosphere, with friendly people. The staff is very accommodating. The food is good and they give you more than enough. The Shepards Pie is one of there specialities

Murphy’s Law is a hidden gem in the UES. It’s the epitome of an amazing Irish bar. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It’s just an amazing nice vibe. The bartenders are amazing. Awesome people. And food is really good! I’ve lived in NYC for only 8 months but this is my favorite spot in the UES. Highly recommend

This unassuming place is a gift to the upper East side. The weekend Staff is on point. The bartender on Satirday got slowly packed by our entire group and delivered food and drinks without writing a thing down. Oh, and that was to us in the outside seating area. We had wings, Nachos, Mac and cheese, I saw some burgers happen. All good. Wasn't impressed with the look of the fish and chips but didn't hear any reports that anything was not good. For that stuffy area, this place is a gift.
