Murray Hill Diner reviews
15Old fashioned diner with extensive diner style menu. Large pancakes, bacon eggs and toast, very clean nice big counter
Just popped in to grab a salad, but a great local place! Also, I left my umbrella and they were kind enough to keep it for me.
The food was perfectly fine, the price was reasonable. Super fast and friendly service! Here you can get very full even for less money
UPDATE: came here a second time for the benefit of the doubt but this time the same sandwich I ordered the day before (cheese and bacon sandwich) had a complete different preparation. It was just BAD…
Mixed experiences:
Eggs Benedict arrived without ham, the bread was not even toasted. Worst dish I’ve ever had.
Super fast service but it seems they sacrifice dishes quality. As for the atmosphere, we ate at the bar and you can feel the tension around the kitchen.
Their manager is not organized when dishes come out form the kitchen so everything starts piling up…
Good onion rings. Good soup. They were fine with substitutions. The pulled pork sandwich was a little fatty, but still tasty.
Great place amazing food, friendly staff I order here for lunch every day. You’ve got a try the Texas burger
In midtown you'd be hard pressed to find better food for a better value. Ask for the corned beef hash extra crispy, simply amazing!
Old school diner like a 50s luncheonette.
Good solid food at reasonable prices.
Recommend the breakfast specials!
A bunch of racist Mexicans at the counter talking about the customer’s in Spanish like it isn't a second language in NY. The food was bland and nasty like the staff. Educate and do better.
Super breakfast in all the classic variants, you are served at the table and the coffee is served in real cups and not in paper cups. More locals than tourists, we'd love to come back.
It’s a was first time here and it was terrible. They have very bad customer service; the server and the manager were so rude since we came inside the place.
The manager was xenophobic because he gave us very bad service but for other American customers he act very different. He came to our table so many times to tell us to don’t do some stuff and when we ask him something he just answered “I don’t care”. Very bad experience and service.
Very good dinner with affordable prices! Great choice on the menu and very friendly waiters! I recommend!
New breakfast in a new "diner".
The place is clearly frequented by New Yorkers, and is at the same time very quiet.
All the classics are here, and we took a few.
I chose the "Eggs Benedict": poached eggs covered with Hollandaise sauce, and which rest on a slice of grilled ham and a grilled muffin, all accompanied by potatoes and a coffee, American style.
On the service side, the waiters regularly came to make sure that everything was fine, and to offer us coffee and fresh water: impeccable.
Everything went very well. Recommended if you are in the area.
This business is overpriced. A grilled chicken salad is over $23! When you order fries, sometimes they send a large and sometimes a small, when I tell them what size I want they say they only have one size (?)
Lovely dinner in Lexington avenue. Definitely value for money and huge portions. Plenty of options for breakfast.
