Muse Paintbar - Ridge Hill, Yonkers NY

What a great time I had with the girls! My family & I surprised my step mother & she was so stoked!

Music: Was good & matched the vibe very well!

Food: more like appetizer options, I ordered pizza and mozzarella sticks & the pizza was yummy. The mozzarella sticks was alittle too thick n mushy for me.

Drinks: I got Minute Maid lemonade yummy and refreshing the ladies order glasses of wine & a bottle of wine & they enjoyed although they said it was extremely sweet!

Painting:

We arrived a bit late & the instructors Kate & Crystal were very accommodating! We thought we wouldn’t be able to catch up with everyone by how difficult the art looked but it actually ended up being easy. The instructions given were very helpful! Thank you for accommodating our big group & making the birthday girl feel special & going around following up on us!

We painted on a “couples night” 7pm not realizing it was mostly couples but it was ok we went as a big friend group & everything still turned out great!

(Highly recommend for a ladies night/couples or even to bring the kids)

Loved the beverage bar. Choice of wine, beer and cocktails. Painting was fun although artist consistently micro managed process. Also, played music a bit too loudly. Could have better acoustics. Will go back for other classes.

Such a fun birthday celebration night out! Melanie was a super fun teacher and the music was, 10/10 recommend!

If you want to learn how to paint art and have fun this is for you. Food and drinks served.

Bought my mom here for her birthday and we had such a good time. It's crazy how we was all following the came instructions but our colors and pictures came out looking a Lil different lol. The staff was friendly and helpful (mom struggling and they came and helped her out).
The only downside is the music was a Lil loud but I'll definitely be coming back.

I didn’t have a great experience, the place is okay but the vibes are off. The instructor was off and was doing whatever she wanted and had a really weird attitude and vibe towards us the audience. The staff seemed to hate the job and just wanted to go home and didn’t want to do anything. Tickets are way too expensive compare to similar places with better services. I wouldn’t come back and I don’t recommend this place.

Went here after a dinner with my girlfriend. Mostly her idea but she enjoyed painting/drawing to begin with. From a guy's perspective it definitely isnt the spot for a guys night out if you know what i mean. Its a slow paced painting lesson where girls get to drink their wine & be loose. The instructor was pretty detailed & clear enough. My gripe with the place was the limiting of creativity. They only gave me 4 colors of paint & we only learned how to mix them into 1 single color while consistently brightening its vibrance throughout the class. I was hoping the place would teach you basic painting techniques then letting the customers imagine what to paint based on a theme for the class. By about half way i started to just paint ahead of the instructor's instructions cause it was getting a bit boring. At the end my painting looked nothing like the class but I brought me more joy than just blindly following along.

This was a great experience, I used to draw when I was in my teens. Took art in HS, I was good at drawing pictures of animals.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I loveee the ladies that work there. They’re so friendly and helpful. I went twice with my friend Sharisse during my trip to NYC. It was so fun that I looked for a place here in LA but it’s just not the same. Muse is a great standard for fun paint and sip!

Great enthusiasm and energy, totally worth the money! Make sure not to pick a painting that is too complicated!

Really like the esthetic, the studio has paintings for sale, the bathroom was clean and it was an enjoyable experience. The instructors were very nice and helpful

I had crystal as the teacher. She was very patient and helpful. She showed us different techniques that I was not taught other times I have gone to muse. This was my first time at this location and I would go again. They have very nice options to choose from.

Took my wife here for her birthday. We had a lot of fun. The instructor was funny. The crowd was a little wack though. Everyone was all quiet and serious. I have a little harder time keeping quiet. We had a few drinks. Blazed a bit and came to paint. They have some snacks here but def eat before you come. It's hard to eat with paint and easels everywhere. I feel like if I did this same painting again it would come out much better. I'm not going to. It's not like I have a studio. Or even a little space where my kids don't venture into that I would even be able to color, let alone paint these trees again. I'm serious about my trees. Check mine out. What do you think?

My family and I were regulars at the facility. We spent lots of money going to classes and for food. Art classes were my kids regimen because we homeschool them and my kids loved going to the Muse Paintbar. Until recently when policies supposedly changed and my husband could not sit with us at our class. I did express that I did not agree with it, and they documented it in the system that I made a big scene and they permanently banned us from all Muse Paintbar facilities. What I don’t understand is if I was making a big scene why wasnt security called to escort me off the premises. Because they made up lies about me and my family, and its not right. But it’s OK because I don’t need a teacher to teach me how to paint like a professional, I can do it on my own.
And I painted this all by myself without a class

Amazing experience! Food, drinks, and staff are phenomenal. Our instructor was engaging, funny and awesome at showing us exactly what to do. Highly recommend!

I had a fabulous time at Muse Paintbar. The artist was kind, energetic, and patient. It was a great birthday event with my friends. I can't wait to go again!

Ismael hands down is the best instructor there. I would only want to go to him! Love his work

Been here twice now and it is always an enjoyable experience. Great instructors and an overall fun time.

I planned a birthday party for my daughter using the online feature that is required. I never heard back from anyone in regards to the party, the week before I went into a panic because I still hadn't received a response in regards to my questions, there were so many underlining rules to follow that no one explained to me. STRESS! Needless to say, the party day arrives, and there was another rule, you have to pay for every adult that is staying as there is a studio fee (WHO KNEW THIS? !? !? !?), I am informing parents 15 minutes before the party that they can't stay and have to drop off. Oh and you can order from the kitchen the day of, the cook was not there! HELP! Thank goodness my guests worked with me and there are pizza shops around! In regards to the party itself - the artist was AMAZING and my daughter loved every minute of it, but the customer service and party planning is horrible!
So 1 star for all the preplanning, but 5 stars for the artist on the day of our event!
