A great place to shop and rent any band or orchestra instrument for your kids, who wants to try and play bands in 4th Grade and up. Great customer service and we signed up for the free cleaning too and keep renting until you have enough to own your instrument. My son would love to own his, he loves his clarinet! And it's now ready for the Fall 2023!

Renting an instrument for my son online went very smoothly and returning the instrument a year later in the store too.

Sadly, the customer service here has declined dramatically. I called about a simple item that was out of stock at the time. Never received a call back. I bought a substitute and talked to the gentleman at the counter about the fact that I might return. I learned they have a 30 day return policy. Fair enough - now I know but that could have been shared 36 days ago when I bought the item. I also have asked them to look for an instrument for me to buy. I never get a call and when I check in the person that answers the phone is annoyed. I learned today they are short staffed and I’m sorry about that but I think it’s alway wise to call back loyal customers. Is this owned by a much larger company? Because it doesn’t feel like a friendly local music store anymore. I would be scared to rent an instrument here as sometimes things break and need a repair which requires good service!

Horrible service at this location. I'm standing outside their door now dur8ng their business hours. They are closed. I'm trying to return a rental and buy an instrument. This is my second time at the store. Each time I called ahead. I'm not even sure how to help someone avoid the hassle they are putting me through.

My daughter has taken advanced flute lessons with Cindy Tag for the past year. Cindy helped to prepare Leila for auditions to the advanced Jazz Band at Penfield HS. Leila was successfully admitted! Besides being an excellent flutist Cindy has a warm and friendly demeanor that Leila has really connected with. We think she is wonderful!

Absolute garbage company. Our school recommended it for instrument rentals so I thought it would be ok. Nope! For the past 3 weeks they have been charging my credit card random amounts WEEKLY! I noticed it when I was checking my statements. Tried to call, chat and email with no luck of getting a hold of someone. I'm beyond angry! Stay away!

This place is so much better than just buying from Amazon! I took my horn in and they took a quick look and gave me advice on how/where to fix it! Local shops like these are a must have in our community!

This place is a complete scam. We rented an instrument for 2years. When we turned it in they talked us into buying it because “we already had $400 of equity in it”. They gave us a different flute and charged us another $400. They said it was a $1,000 flute (“just look at Amazon! ”) and that we’d EASILY be able to resell it for that. Two years later and we’ve posted it everywhere. Not a single interest. We can’t even get other music stores to take it ($200 tops). We’ve called them repeatedly for help along with one of their reps. Surprisingly they have no interest in the “brand new $1,000 flute” either.

I have been renting a trumpet for my daughter for the past 5 years, that was sent in 11 months ago for repair. I’ve continued to pay the rental and STILL do not have the trumpet back. I’ve emailed and called many times with no response, and conveniently the voicemail box is not set up. The school that my daughter attends also has contacted them many times with no resolution. I would never recommend this business to anyone.

I really hate leaving low star reviews so I changed it to 5 stars after the refund was issued. I just got my $35 back that was randomly charged on the 04/06 I don't know if its the credit card company or the business. Also, I cannot remove the review, hence just an update and the star adjustment. Again difficult to work with, but world class instruction with the teacher I had there, for this I am very grateful!

Great piano teacher! Unfortunately this is a company that free lances teachers and is frustrating to work with. I booked one month of piano lessons. Planning to take 1 month every 3 months so that I can practice between. I have been playing 2 years, self taught and recognize the value of repetition to perfect before moving forward. I told them this at purchase time.
2/10/22 charged $32.99 membership fee.
3/2/22 $140 for lessons. I canceled the monthly lessons after my first lesson. Before finishing my final 3 lessons. I am now charged
$35 on 4/6/22 - No one is answering the phone.

I have been calling for 2 days. Considering I drive 20min just to get to the lesson on top of all this is such a shame. That's now $200 for 4 x 30min lessons and 20 mins of my life filing a fraud complaint with my credit card company and schlepping with this review. Save yourself the trouble, go else where.

I was most impressed with Greg whose looks reminded me of John Lennon. The staff is knowledgeable, most are musicians and they are very helpful. Bravo!

I went in the store around 8: 30 in the morning and the salesman who was the only worked in the store, who had a strange small braid and was African American never said hello and remained on the phone the entire time. I didn't get his name and that's why I am describing what he looks like. I waited patiently at the counter with a guitar book that I wanted to buy but was ignored as I stood at the counter waiting for him to get off the phone when another call came in and he proceeded to answer another call. He knew I was standing there by the way. I then proceeded to ask h to cash me out and he stopped talking to make a comment to the person on the phone to say that I was an irrate customer. I told him that I had been standing there for at least 10 minutes and that I had to go to work. He began to raise his voice and was the irrate one. This had never happened.to me. I said.forget it and took my money back in my pjurse.
