MyHome Renovation Experts, New York NY

We've used MyHome three times in the last 4 years, twice for our own co-op apartments on the UWS and once for an investment condo in Midtown. All renovations come with challenges, and this company and Lior's team really does stand behind their work, and will work with you until you are willing to leave 5 star reviews when you never ordinarily post them, like us. We're busy professionals, and we can take comfort in knowing that our home will look and feel the way we want it, and MyHome does really deliver on their promise. Lior's team along with Altin were professional and responsive throughout the most recent renovation for our apartment in midtown. This is an established, professional company, with hard working project managers and accounting staff. So when you have a question, and you call or email, you're going to get a quick response. We couldn’t be happier working with MyHome.

This review is long overdue. The team was simply wonderful. Hey made the whole process from start to finish easy and low stress for me. The finished product is beautiful and is still beautiful several years later. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I had never done a renovation before and I spoke with about 10 potential contractors. I was a little hesitant about going with a bigger company, as I was afraid of being treated impersonally and being overcharged. I met with Lior Noy and he actually took some time to learn a little about me as a person in addition to understanding my plans for my project. The price he quoted was very fair, and while I opted to make a lot of purchases on my own to stay within budget, my project was still treated as if it was just as important as a bigger job. I had a bit of a hiccup with my initial project manager leaving a week or two in, but my second manager, John, stepped in and was responsive and addressed all my questions and requests right away. My construction crew was always there on time and worked consistently to get the job done as quickly as possible. They did high quality work, protected my home, and worked with me to make sure all the details were in order. The job was finished in the appropriate time frame and I absolutely love my little kitchen!

We chose to work with MyHome Design Remodeling to renovate our bathroom because we had a great experience with them 11 years ago when they remodeled our kitchen (I still love it!) The bathroom is beautiful. We are very please with the design and with the very professional work. Also they were responsive to my questions and concerns, giving me quick answers and explanations as well as help in determining several changes in the plans. One proviso, there were some delays slowing down the completion of the the work, so try to ensure that they can move ahead steadily when they start. We are altogether happy with our new bathroom. We would highly recommend My Home for your home.

MyHome did our new kitchen when we bought a 15 year old house. They've shown professionalism all through the design, purchasing and installation. Very responsive, and we love the results. Great job MyHome team!

Pros are the chief project manager when I worked there was very knowledgeable.

Not all employees very knowledgeable
I was let go without any warning or any complaints about my work prior to being let go. Tis gave me no opportunity to change what ever it was that was bothering the owner;. For all I know, His pms might have been kicked in that day.
Anyway Be very careful about "Estimated Product Cost", What is that anyway?
The contract has to be signed if you want to go ahead with any permits, etc.before you know what the material will cost. That includes all material.from cabinets, tops, tiles to sheetrock and screws.
Very expensive labor costs, but they will get the job done.if theres a problem, which there usually is, it may take 6 months but the project will be completed to its best possible or when your happy

Our shower door was installed incorrectly and eventually shattered because it was installed with just enough pressure to explode 2 years later. They investigated and informed us that the warranty would not cover but were more than happy to charge us $8,000 to repair and replace. Their warranty isn’t worth the paper it is printed on. Buyer beware.

I had the most fantastic experience doing a major renovation of a 2000 square foot apartment in Manhattan. Each person involved with the project (michael p, Justin S, Rafael P) we’re all professional, always helpful, always on time and each one really knew their area of expertise. I am now currently in my newly renovated home and walk around in utter amazement as to what was done. There are no mistakes. Everything went according to plan and even their pricing was on target. I had no idea that remodeling an apartment could be such a wonderful experience. I miss these guys already! Truly!

I cannot say enough good things about the experience working with MyHome.

Going into this renovation, we had heard so many horror stories about all the things that could go wrong - projects dragging on forever, going way over budget, or just having shoddy work that needed to be replaced - so we were really bracing ourselves for the worst. But working with Ben and Rafael from my MyHome was the complete opposite of that. All pricing was transparent and fair, the quality of the workmanship was absolutely top notch, and, shockingly, the bulk of the work actually finished early.

Through it all both Ben and Rafael were extraordinarily professional, diligent, responsive, and kind, taking the time to help us through design decisions and offering helpful advice without ever making us feel pressured. We really felt like we had a trusted partner in the process who just wanted what was best for us, which was really helpful for first-time renovators. We are overjoyed with the way the apartment turned out and would absolutely recommend working with MyHome for anyone considering taking on a project of their own - you won't be disappointed!

We just finished a full kitchen renovation with My Home. From start to finish, we could not have been more pleased with the professionalism of everyone we dealt with. One of the best things about dealing with our team, Ben, Todd and Goga, was their prompt response to any of our concerns - either via text, e-mail or phone call. We highly recommend them.

We worked with My Home to do a complete renovation of a two bedroom, two bath apartment. I don’t think we would have been able to do this without the help of Ben, our designer at My Home. What also helped us was the fact that we could shop in the showroom at My Hime and not have to go around the city looking for what we needed. When the work began we were able to talk to Todd, our project manager, every step of the way. He was totally on top of the job and answered very one of our questions. The job is now done and we love it.
