Dropped in here for some food one afternoon. Best experience! Food and sake were amazing!
I had the Aburi-Shimesaba -Highly recommend!

Vegetable Gyozas were delicious some of the best I’ve had. Very fresh. Veggie ramen was just ok. This place is cash only and they aren’t transparent about the bill. So you end up tipping on top of gratuity without noticing. I don’t intend this to be a negative review just informational. The ambiance was nice, service was quick.

We ordered to go. The service was very nice and the design was cute. The gyoza was delicious and we had high hopes for the ramen however it was pretty tasteless. I'm not sure if it was because they were close to closing but the tonkotsu broth was milky and oily so it just tasted like mostly the scallions. The spicy miso tasted like the same milky broth with chilli. Both only came with 2 pieces of meat, half an egg and half a piece of meat for an extra $4 and one veggie. The portion was worth the price but it's not worth it for add-ons. Just lackluster ramen in a cute shop.

Absolutely chill the food was affordable. Service is great left a $5 tip, and great jazz music playing in the background not to mention that broth hits hard and it smacks

I love this place I haven't been a loyal patron since they opened. Spicy miso no bok choy but sometimes I get the bok choy in it lol depends on my mood. The tonkatsu and shoyu are awesome as well. Pair the spicy miso with a glass of wine and you're going to be extremely happy lol chef kiss

This ramen spot in Brooklyn is awesome. I like going here alone or getting takeout. Just a heads up, they only take cash.

A must-visit shop when in Brooklyn. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the music is always right.

The waitress wrote the large takeout order on her glove instead of paper and got it all ways of wrong. I returned once because she forgot something, we noticed a few more mistakes at home.

We were in soon after they opened on a Sunday, and we were the only people in there the entirety of our time eating. I have seen some complaints about how the service was poor when it got very busy, so I can't attest to that. But our waitress was super nice, the service was very fast, and the food was completely delicious. I definitely recommend getting some of the chili garlic oil on the side.

It was a busy Friday night, one server. Sure.we understand and let it pass. Waited maybe 15-20 mins to order than another we waited another >1hr just to ask the server if we could at least get our drinks, she tried to hide the fact that the order was completely lost. Wrote the new order down “just to check if it’s in the back” when really it never went through. No apology or anything. Anyways, horrible attitude and I understand it’s busy but man this was truly the worst experience you could imagine.

Edit: I think someone quite literally just wrote a review a couple mins ago of the same experience we had tonight. Apparently we had the same experience of forgotten orders and rude service.

Full disclosure, first time to have ramen that were not out if a package. I had the curry ramen. The portion was more then plenty. The curry tasted amazing. I will definitely go back and I can only recommend this place.

Really unfortunate experience tonight. As a restaurant owner and industry person I felt for them but this was a horror show. Severely understaffed to the point where I literally could not relax and was only concerned with the ONE server working alone on a Friday night floundering helplessly while the entire spot was going down in flames. No support, no one to help, no one to greet customers, phone ringing off the hook. The entire restaurant was on edge feeling the strain and stress of the one employee and it was uncomfortable and embarrassing.

It was my partner’s birthday and we got in right before the rush and were looking for a nice dinner together. We sat and ordered promptly and then waited and waited and waited while other tables were sat, served, fed - all while we hadn’t even received our drink order yet. After over thirty minutes the server came over and said “the kitchen misplaced your order” AKA she never placed it. We placed it again. You would think at that point we would receive our simple canned drinks ASAP but no - no drink arrived. Ten minutes later we heard a glass and a plate shatter and watched the ONLY server in the whole spot cleaning it up whilst another gaggle of guests poured in, crowding the door. At this point, over thirty minutes in and no drink, we informed the server we were just going to leave. She acted totally nonplussed and just said “okay” - not even an apology in the slightest. Horribly understaffed to the point of embarrassment.

I would recommend ordering the spicy miso ramen. It was so delicious. They are quick in serving you. Please note that they only accept cash for payment and no credit cards. Overall, it's a cute place to dine.

We ordered at 7: 40 and settled into a wait, understanding that the manager was swamped. After 45 long minutes without any update, patience gave way to frustration. At 8: 25, my son inquired about our meal. It was then, and only then, our hot waters arrived and there was a need to "confirm our order. " It became evident our order wasn’t placed. Under the manager’s watch, a lapse like this was unexpected and disappointing. We left, questioning the restaurant’s future if this was the standard of service.

Very simple. Ordered everything at 7: 40. We twiddled our thumbs for 45 minutes, not wanting to bother her because she was extremely busy. Not once did she come and check up on us. I got up at 8: 25 to ask where our food was, she then saw my face and brought us our hot waters. While she was at our table she said she wanted to “confirm our order” and we told her it again, and we said if it wasn’t put in we were leaving. She came back and said order was never put in. We left. Worst experience ever. I would blame management but she was management, and was clearly mismanaging. At this rate with terrible service, restaurant will probably be gone in a few months.

Got charged $72 on a $60 bill (I counted up after I left because my friend had a suspicion about the high price. They have no itemized bill system in the end, everything you ordered is written on receipt paper with a random number at the end.no way to know if there someone added taxes or gratuity fees! This place is super janky! We even still tipped an extra $8 besides feeling completely blindsided… you took extra tip and added it to our total smh tax wouldn’t be 20%. My black tonktsu ramen was good but my friends spicy miso ramen was bland. Wish we would’ve went to Ramen Danbo.

Definitely a gem. An escape from the busy Brooklyn streets, you are treated to a cozy atmosphere with great ramen. A PERFECT date spot.
