National Hotel, Leicester NY

This was our first time dining at the National Hotel and it won’t be our last. The food was outstanding. The Prime Rib was one of the best I’ve ever had. We both enjoyed our French Onion soup, and the seafood bisque was so tasty. Our hostess was so sweet and our waitress, Michelle, was so attentive and friendly.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 50th Anniversary so my children and grandchildren and my husband and I dined at the National in Cuylerville New York.

. I hadn’t had lobster in a while and really was looking forward to it. My son also ordered it. Neither of us could eat it because it was spongy and had a foul taste to it. I really tried because I wanted nothing to go wrong that evening. The twin lobster tails were $65 which was the highest we had ever paid for lobster.

They still charged us the $65 each the lobster.that two of us could not eat. That is outrageous. How petty of them! We will never go back there!

They have certainly gone downhill!

Although the building is old and nice.food was no so. Broiled fish was bland. Nothing about the meal was great.not even wine. This is my second visit in a few years and won’t be back again. Oh and did I mention it was WAY overpriced.for fish and potato.

Great gem out in the country with great service, food and the bar is a great place to relax with awesome atmosphere!

We had a wonderful dinner. The owners are friendly and made us feel welcomed. The food was tasty and plentiful. We will return for dinner again when we are in the area.

Beautiful decor, very professional and pleasant waitress. Wait time for meal average, presentation of food excellent, pricing a bit high, portions were excellent. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely Amazing! Food was spectacular, ambiance was awesome and the staff was wonderful! It was recommended to us by a brewery owner in town and we are so glad that we went there! Definitely call ahead and make reservations just to be safe! We will be back!

Absolutely wonderful meal, everything was cooked to perfection and the raspberry, rhubarb pie was to die for. We had a group of 9 and we were all very pleased!

Classic feel, great service, nice food from a female chef! My only complaint is it was chilly inside lol.just bring a sweater: D
