Neergaard Pharmacy, Brooklyn NY

I was excited to patronize this small business for the first time instead of going to Walgreens down the block. An older man followed me around the store and kept trying to talk to me even though I had headphones in. At first he said I need to be careful of my backpack so I wouldn't knock over "expensive merchandise. " Then he kept asking if I walk or work out or something to that effect and basically saying he approves of my body. "You are big but you have a very nice body" were his exact words. He completely creeped me out and scared me. I immediately put everything back on the shelf and left and went to Walgreens. I wish i would have yelled at him but i was too shocked. Please avoid this creepy guy and this place if you can.

There is a pharmacist with a God complex who always tells me that “ I get too many medications“, which is why my scripts are never ready. Sometimes he pretends that my doctor never sent the medication, and I will have to call my physicians multiple times to get a confirmation. After getting into it with him now my medications are on back order for three weeks after which they told me to call the doctor and have it sent to another pharmacy.

The nurse that gave me my shot and all the staff were so friendly, polite, and kind. Really made me feel comfortable.

I went there for the COVID test for my travel. They are very organized, kind and super helpful. Highly recommended. Thank you for your service!

I received my first dose of vaccine there and the online scheduling + in-person set-up were flawless. Highly recommend!

I very much appreciated the above and beyond service of teams members Dalia & Hema who got me vaccinated late on a rainy Sunday evening before I departed for work out of State early the next morning. Thank you. Now once again a loyal customer.

I've purposely gone out of my way to fill my prescriptions from them for years in.hopes of helping local mom and pop stores, and little by little, they've been incredibly disappointing. From the rude and unhelpful pharmacist thats downright condescending to women, including myself, to the older gentlemen that stand guard in the front area and then shadow people of color throughout the store. Today's complete lack of help from the pharmacist over filling out the script incorrectly, despite confirmation from my dr how it was written, was the final straw.

The toys, although pricey are very good quality. I also find the figures they sell at the store to be very rare and hard to find at other stores.

Just horrible. Tried getting a rx filled on a Friday was told it would be in Monday. Monday I called then told would definitely be in on Tuesday. I go to pick up on Wednesday assuming it should certainly be in by then.nope, I told them I traveled 20 minutes to get here please cancel my rx I will go some where else to fill it.

Now it's over a week without my rx because the new pharmacy can't fill it because my insurance won't pay for it until Neergaurd reverses the charge which I asked them to do almost a week ago.

If you need aspirin go to neerguard. If there's a drug you need that could effect your well being and not a joke go to a professional well managed establishment that takes your health seriously.

I received prenatal vitamins that had small black holes on them, I am really concerned about my health and my baby’s as well. I found that 2 pills had black stain on them when I was almost half way done with the bottle. FLY: I did not grab the vitamins off the counter it was a prescription they filled for me that was sent electronically by my OB/GYN doctor. I called in to discuss the issue with them, the guy pharmacist did not even care as if it was a broken toy and asked me to bring in the bottle, back to the pharmacy during this pandemic.

I must use neergard medical supplies and the staff there are usually helpful though impatient, i go to the pharmacy at cvs on 9th street where the staff is hard working, professional and accurate, unlike the rude and nasty staff at the pharmacy in Neergard.

I have been there multiple times, but I am not a regular client.
I don’t believe I’ll be going back to this place.

Shame on neergaard! Price gouging during these times.was there this morning - $9 for one N95 mask.same goes for latex gloves and alcohol swabs.

The only place we went to that actually had and evwn knew what aloe was for sun burns. Plus they were open very late.

I go here for the toy store on the second floor. Good selection with decent prices. Sometimes they get new stuff before the big box retailers!

Open 24-7. When you are sick, they're the local place to go.

Plus, when you know what you want, they're customer service is fast and professional.

Large selection and inventory.

The toy shop is just amazing, cool selection of multiple brands (Mezco, Hasbro, Mattel, etc). Good client service as well, bilingual (English/Spanish).

Zero stars for this place. I’ve been going here since I was a kid never will I go here again. They’re so rude and nasty I waited an hour and a half for my medicine plus I had to wait online on top of that meanwhile all they had to do was give me my medicine because it was ready and have me sign. The guys in the front of the store constantly follow you like you’re going to steal something. If you don’t want to wait for your medicine do not go here they will have you waiting forever! Go to rite aid instead.

Rude unfriendly unhelpful. Basically the last people you want to deal with when you are sick / recovering from surgery.

I wanted to use a local pharmacy so badly. They lost my rx not once but TWICE! My doctor even spoke to a pharmacist to confirm they received my rx the second time. The first gentleman I dealt with was RUDE to me and although the woman I spoke to the second time was very nice, I can't work with a business that performs this way. They had no explanation as to why this happen and I have lost faith in this small business.
