My friend had a bad experience visiting Neil's barbershop with her son. They were disrespectful an rude. I wouldn't recommend anyone going there. For a paying customer for over 7 years, she should not have been treated like that. And to make things worse the owner was present for the encounter an didn't say anything to his employee.

I witness an exchange between female customer w/her son and one of the barbers that cut hair in the second seat. As the female customer walk into the establishment the barber was marking inappropriate remarks indirectly and directly to her. By her face she felt his comments was disrespectful especially after she address him not to speak to her. The owner of the store didn’t say or stop his employee from making derogatory towards this customer. As a single mother she shouldn’t have to engage w/disrespectful employees as a paying customer. This experienced for this customer was horrible and she will not be back. She recommends that mothers w/sons will not have a warm welcoming at this barbershop.

My daughter just share she had the most disrespectful and humiliating experience while taking her son 10 year old to this barbershop; one which her son had been going to since he was 2 years old. She was left unprotected by the owner while a barber in the 2nd chair proceeded to treat her disrespectfully while trying to get her attention which she wanted no part of; taking place in front of her son. The shop owner allowed the barber to continue his barrage of disrespect without intervening while leaving her feeling helpless, humiliated. Men please beware how your wife/lady could be treated when visiting this barbershop alone with your child; like a piece of meat thrown into a Lion’s Den. This shop definitely is no place for a woman to be.

WOMEN BEWARE! I’ve been a customer of Neil’s for years. He has been cutting my son’s hair for 8 years. My last experience: Immediately after entering the shop I was bombarded with unwanted attention from a barber assigned to the 2nd chair to the left. As my son sat in the chair getting his hair cut by Neil, I attempted to ignore the unwanted loud comments directed towards Neil about me while I sat“Neil whose your friend” “I never seen this friend before” “Neil can I get to know your friend” “Do you tell all your friends your married “. When I decided to speak up for myself and expressed I wasn’t interested and I wanted to be serviced in peace, it turned to not an intense arguement. “ I shared with “ Neil this would be the last time I’m coming here” the disrespectful womanizing barber stated “ this shop will still be here without you”. Neil NEVER UTTERED A WORD To the barber to stop his UNWANTED AND UNWARRANTED REMARKS. WOMEN SHOULD NOT BE SUBJECTED TO DISRESPECT, EMBARRASSMENT and HUMILIATION by NARCISSISTIC MEN, simply because they are not interested in the “Married “ barber. NEIL YOU FAILED at managing a positive, respectful and welcoming environment. You condoned the behavior displayed towards me with your silence. SHAME ON YOU.

Neil has been cutting my hair for nearly 18yrs now. I live in Brooklyn but make the trip to Queen's Village because he gives the best haircut!

Excellent Service. It’s so great to discover a barber shop that is so family friendly and professional. I was so scared to visit a barber and my sister recommended this place. The cut me, my husband and my son’s hair. All three barbers did a wonderful job. My hair looks so great and I still look feminine. Thanks guys for also being so patient with my son who has autism and got his first cut at a barber today.
