Supermarket NetCost Market reviews
16Nice place to come to for groceries as I see many people come here but I do feel like the prices are a bit more than normal so I don't come here often. The staff is nice and haven't had any problem when shopping here. I like the fact they make in house fresh bread and some interesting birthday cakes. Also they give extra grocery bags free without charge unlike many other places which I appreciate.
This Netcost Market has good products. My only complain is the front door guards. This guards are hired to this market to look after the supermarket and they are the ones stealing. They are always taking the small tangerines and apples put them in their pockets and go outside to eat them. Who is stealing in this market? Their own Russian Guards the one they stand at their own door to watch people. Hahahahahah
Has a variety of international food, a nice produce section as well as a meat department. They also have a bread department with a variety of bread. Overall a clean store and helpful staff.
A lot of friendly service. Good price. The Salmon prices are super low. Register atendant was very helpful and courteous.
About a good as a food store can get! Free delivery on purchases over 40 dollars. Very quick too.
Great variety of good international products, a few very pricey, check-out lines sometimes are too long not enough cashiers
Doesnt have as much variety or amount as the bigger net cost markets in brooklyn, but enough for quick groceries.
Russian supermarket. If your Russian than its the place for you. Friendly place to shop at even if your not Russian.
Disorganized location, lacking basics. Very narrow isles, creating traffic jams.save yourself time and nerves, go to their other locations.
I'm a regular costumer for 8 years now. Today I really got disappointed and regretted all the time I used to shop there. As I walked to the cashier, as usual I use my netcost market card for discounts but this time.there's no discount even though when I got the salmon there's a sign that says such a thing. I asked the lady what's wrong and suddenly she looked so angry in my eyes and started yelling at me. Also after I asked to calm down and be kind with her costumer she started laughing and asked for a manager. A young blonde guy walked in and started talking to her, but to make me feel unwanted they spoke in Russian. I was feeling so ignored even though they didn't know that I can understand what they are talking. Even if I was wrong. I just tried to get the right explanation from them and I always kept calm even though I'm the one who is mistreated here, and they showed clearly that they really do not care for costumer assistance when they told me to never be back there.
I was surprised with their behavior because as economics says, a costumer is a God for the business, even if they are wrong.
I believe the general managers will take care and be really tough when they choose people to represent them because they represent their business.
With respect,

I once returned from a trip from Russia, and decided that I wanted some mors.
I visited NetCost, and lo and behold, they had the same exact brand of mors that I have in Russia two days prior.
In fact the layout of the store, and the items they carry are nearly identical to stores in the former Soviet Union.
For a brief moment, I did not know if I was in America or Russia.
I used to shop here all the time but after they stopped carrying some of my regular purchases, and once I realized the dudes in black suits were following me and my kid around the store, I stopped shopping here. It’s sketchy af.
The cashier was super nice, some young guy. All was good until a supervisor blond came up and started blasting at him for something - in total ignore that there was a customer there being checked out. The guy had to stop what he was doing and she keep going until I interfered and requested that she waited until he finished with my groceries. Ugh she was gross and I don't know how she's anything above anyone in this store.
Used to shop here but the security people follow you around and make you feel uncomfortable if you shop more then 20 minutes.
I used to come here for Eastern European food but not go to the Asian supermarkets on bay parkway where the produce is cheaper and better quality and they treat you like humans and are friendly.
My advice is to avoid net cost at this location. Join Costco in Brooklyn where I shop for my food
This netcost location I come the most.
Staff is friendly. Produce is fresh. Store is clean.
At 8: 26 pm announced on the radio that the store is closed, while the working hours are until 9 pm. And then every employee in sight would repeat it many times rather rudely, so that leaving the store at 8: 55 I felt like a felony.
