New Roots Coffeehouse, Greece NY

When I lived in Rochester, they had just started out as a rustic little cafe with a music school. In the last 5 years, they have now built into a fancier cafe with many more options to eat, drink, knick knacks and tea and coffee beans to buy. I was delighted to visit when I was in Rochester recently and see this development!

I got their coffee with cocoa drink with an addition of peppermint flavoring. It was good. The girls working the cafe were definitely on their toes quite a bit. I used to love their hot chocolate so I'll be glad to go back for that on my next visit!

I was stàying down the road for the weekend and always like trying local small coffee shops. This place was sooooo good. The coffee was so tasty and smooth. I finished every drop. I dont like my coffee too fancy. My first visit I tried the Rainforest crunch then the second day too. I wish i had gotten more before leaving. I may plan another trip and get a few pounds of it to take home.

But the coffee was not great. Pretty standard, but the roast was much too dark for my preference. Looking at the other beans they had in stock - that seems to be their thing. So likely won't be back unfortunately.

It's a real coffee shop in Greece. They serve Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters! Charming atmosphere and very friendly staff. They have live music, open mic nights, chess club, and it's attached to a music school. It's my go to for studying, reading, or a quick date with the wife.

I love coming here! So many reasons! Baristas are always helpful and friendly, they make great coffees and sandwiches. I am a fan of the local Jamaican Me Crazy blend, and I’m so happy they serve it here! They suggested ordering it with banana flavor and it’s literally my new fav! I’ve been getting it blended to a frappe consistency. The vibe is all that and more. It makes me feel at home with seats next to the window, an even offering community coloring/sketch book, in an artsy and musically inspired coffee shop right in Greece. Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing and made to order. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin. They also do them on bagels. Two pretty big frappes only costed us like $6.finally REASONABLE PRICING! I like how the shop offers punch cards so you can earn a free drink down the road! I’ve gone several times now and it’s becoming my favorite go to spot (more than that place next store) …

Great little place with great service! Able to catch up with friends while enjoying coffee, snacks and a panini sandwich!

Haven't had any.sandwiches yet but have had coffee and muffins. Love both! Service is great too. Prefer New Roots to Starbucks, which is right next door.

I love this little place. The staff is awesome, and the drinks are great! I love their strawberry smoothies so much! It's honestly a little hidden gem of Greece and the only thing like it in this area unless you go into the city. Hope it never leaves:)

Coffee was good and service was fast and efficient; for two people the cost was reasonable

Cozy little coffee shop inside a renovated old house. They carry a variety of food and beverages. Plenty of places to sit and power outlets available.

This is the absolute best coffee shop. I normally go to Starbucks 3-4 times a week. However, I decided to try New Roots one day because of how busy Starbucks was. And it was AMAZING! I love it and am hooked now.

Snuck back home for a long weekend and returned to a coffee shop that I haven't been to in ages. I don't remember it being a favorite, so I was skeptical.

I was pleasantly surprised because our experience was fantastic. The batista was friendly.quiet.but friendly. They had many coffee flavors to choose from, and I had a rasberry mocha latte. It was hot and flavorful.

We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was tasty, too.

There is indoor seating and outdoor seating are available during the warmer months. There is a music and art studio in the same building.

You can also buy coffee beans and have a variety to choose from.

Highly recommend checking out and giving them a try.
