New World Stages reviews
15We went to see The Play That Goes Wrong, which was excellent, really worth seeing. The theatre was really nice and modern, staff very friendly and bar prices were good - just missing snacks, there was nothing to purchase to eat, not even a bag of crisps. But overall, it was a great experience.
An interesting place to see a play or two. Like a theator multiplex. I was hesitant at first but then I do like the excitement vibe from all the people present.
We saw The Play That Goes Wrong.
It was fabulous, I can't say enough good stuff about it. The cast was amazing.
We saw “Dracula, A Comedy of Terrors”
It was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Clever, well written, Non-stop funny, excellent actors playing multiple roles. Fantastic comedy. You will love this. For mature audiences
I went to see Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors at this theater and loved it! The theater itself is smaller than standard Broadway theaters and I loved the intimate vibe.
Nice place to sit for a coffee in the middle of all the noise
I didn't really finish it
This is a great venue with multiple theaters inside. They had plenty of friendly and helpful staff to make sure you got to the right place. The bathrooms were easy to find and very clean. One downfall would be the seats in the balcony. They were very narrow.
Be aware this theater is underground, there was no cellphone signal. Obviously, I’m not using it during the show, but I usually check emails before. I was told afterward that there was WiFi, I will give that a try during my next visit.
What a great venue for some fun show. Including the wonderful production of Dracula: a Comedy of Terrors, that I saw tonight
Saw The Play That Goes Wrong. Laughed from before it started to the end. Cast was amazing!
The stage was great, the show was amazing. There are few if any bad views in the house
Notice I did not say seats. I'm going to be honest.the seats are a bit on the small side, and uncomfortable. I understand the need to fit as many people as possible, but I could barely walk by the end because of how small and tight the seat was.
That being said, it was not enough the overshadow how good everything else was. I had an amazing night.
We saw The Play That Goes Wrong. This play within a play may be the most hilarious, funny, uproarious production we’ve ever seen. The actors are superb and the laughter is nonstop for 2 hours. Would strongly recommend!
I loved this theatre it has Dracula playing here and the seats, the drinks/food, and people were and are amazing at what they do. Very nice and sweet people all of them.
Great off-Broadway shows. Facility is pretty new. The only I don't like is the small restroom so it's a mad dash during intermission.
Saw Dracula here which was absolutely amazing! The staff there are very warm and hospitable, the venue itself is extremely clean and well-run. 10/10!
Had a great time at this venue; Cozy setting and not a bad seat in the house; Modern facilities and amenities within a short walk from Times Square.
