From the operator telephone service and staff.
As a client, left the facility shocked with the professionalizime they provided to me.
The Doctor took her time

Visiting the New York Hearing Center was a wonderful experience. I give the front desk staff 10 points. She was courteous and treated us with respect. She is knowledgeable and anticipated our needs before we asked. She worked hard to deliver the hearing aid on time.
Dr Kathy Feng is outstanding other than being a knowledgeable physician. She is smart with good personality. She was very kind to us. Thumbs up to you doc. You are one in a million. The office is clean, quiet and welcoming.

Almost two years ago, The main reason I bought my dad to this office because I read Dr Feng her profile about her own grandmother story. I had a high hope on it. But Dr. Feng she was not as patient as what she wrote on their profile. I was very disappointed. When I bought my dad to see her in Chinatown on Mott St.to get my dad's hearing test and also pick his hearing aid.she was impatient with my dad and did not explain in details which hearing aid is recommend for him. She looks like she is annoyed. I would not recommend this office. But my dad he is a kind person, he told me it's ok.just don't come back near future and he bought it anyway. "Please be patient to seniors specially they don't hear as well. " I prefer Costco hearing aid center.they are a lot nicer to seniors! We like a lot better.
But the front desk lady, she is polite and better than the owner (dr.). "sad".

One experience with earphones:

When I arrived at the hearing center today, I waited for almost an hour: but when I saw the doctor, "Dr. Feng" she only gave me about ten minutes, and when I wanted to ask some questions, she hurriedly sent me away: she just said there was something The problem is to call back and make an inquiry. She is just in contrast to "Dr. Kang". When Dr. Kang explained the situation to me, it was more detailed than the instruction manual!

Another: Before this, they asked me to contact the insurance company because of a problem with the payment of the insurance card, but I have also given you all the information: Didn’t you contact the insurance company? How can I contact the insurance company directly? And I use an agent for the insurance, and then the insurance company negotiates with the clinic for everything else, how can I understand it as a patient? !
Then I also tried to call the insurance company but no one answered the phone. When I went to the clinic today: they asked me to give them the insurance card: I gave them the insurance card and then the billing problem was settled!
I was wondering: Since you have already made an appointment for me to come today, why bother me to contact the insurance company? !
Then they gave me the earphones they promised to lend me: but they didn't adjust them properly: so they didn't help me much during the time I used them, nevertheless: but I also Thanks for their willingness to lend out the headphones! Moreover, their center tries their best to help patients and the lady at the front desk is also very responsible in their work: but "kindly remind", there is still room for improvement in their service attitude.

I would also like to comment on the equipment of this clinic, because they still require the patient to raise their hands to indicate whether they hear the sound when they test the hearing of the patient, which is a bit backward: it is also a kind reminder that they can improve.

Let’s talk about the earphones: “Actually, it’s not just earphones: it’s a problem involving the entire medical system and insurance. ” An earphone that can be bought for more than 20 yuan in the market: After the so-called “development or programming”, the price jumped to 5,000 Even more than 7,000 dollars: the cheap ones cost more than 2,000 dollars, which happens to be covered by insurance!
Headphones that can be bought for more than 20 yuan in the market: one can imagine how cheap the hardware cost of a headset is!?
What research and development programming: a so-called high-end earphone has not completely solved the problem of patients: and the research and development of those companies is not exclusive: can it be so expensive? What is this but money from health insurance? !
In fact, what I wanted to ask Dr. Feng before is: Will some hearing amplifiers be far worse than the effect of headphones? Because the earphones are developed, analyzed, and programmed for some detailed sounds: sharpen the detailed sounds that are difficult for some patients to hear: but make the sound too sharp: is this counterproductive? Would it be more natural if only the sound was amplified? !
Of course: this is just my personal conjecture: because I am not a professional in this field: for this reason I wanted to ask Dr. Feng about the situation but was sent away by Dr. Feng.
And of course: the situation and price of the earphones are from the manufacturer and involve the entire medical insurance system and have no direct relationship with this clinic, although this clinic seems to have some problems: but as a patient, I only look at the final result: I deduct Lost one star because of those problems!

The office is beautiful and very presentable as I walk in. I was greeted face to face by the secretary and given paperwork which wasn't very much to fill out and within 5 minutes of filling out my paperwork I was already in the back and the audio tester/doctor was very clear direct and proficient I would recommend this hearing facility to anyone in need of hearing services. If I could give them 10 Stars I would.

I went for a hearing check. The booking went smoothly, with the front desk team following up to make sure my reason for going there was correct.

The audiologist was very efficient and took the time to explain the report and inform me on my next options.

Very prompt, organized and sweet people!
I looked for an office that had availability and they were very flexible (my referral sent me to a place that only had appointments in August!). I went in for my hearing aid consultation and they had everything figured out—they even had a chart showing me what models were covered by my insurance. I got to try on different types of hearing aids and we discussed which ones were best for my life style.

10/10 place!
