The wait time was fine I only waited 15 minutes to be seeing The hygienist was brutal in cleaning my teeth. He talked me into a varnishing treatment that was not needed that cost me $73.00
I feel like a fool and I am.never going back to this dirty clinic

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. No phones are “working” to make appointments. You would have to go in person to make the appointment which is extremely inconvenient. When you do have a scheduled appointment, you wait for hours to be called. I had to ask the dental assistant 3 times when I will be called because 12 people who came after me went inside (I had an appointment). After asking them the 4th time, that’s when they decided to let me know they’re cleaning their station up to get me started for the doctor. This took them another 20 minutes. After I got seated with the doctor, he placed a temporary filling because I needed a root canal. That temporary filling literally was placed not in my tooth but on my gums and the entire filling fell right off after 30-40 minutes. I did not eat or chew on that side nor did I drink any liquid. This was horrible service, horrible wait, and a horrible experience. When I wanted to make another appointment with the root canal specialist, the receptionist was on the phone (on speaker) talking to her boyfriend, making me wait till she was done to make an appointment. I will not be coming here again.

This place needs to shut down honestly. The reviews speak for itself, avoid this place at all costs. They don't have anybody answering the phone to make appointments when it says they are open. Even if i were to get connected to a person i know that my appointment would be in about 4 to 6 months. Mind you all this trouble to be seen by a learning student. The real doctor doesnt even really see you. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Yes, it is true. You do wait for a long while before you actually see someone. But the reason I love coming here is because each of my appointments the person i was seeing sat with me and went over EVERYTHING and thoroughly answered ALL my questions. They mad sure that coming to the dentist is something you do not put off all while coming off generously. How many dentists can you say do that?

Never do orthodontics here. REMEMBER! This is a teaching place, so dentists who need training see patients. Of course, Attending sees me very short time if the training dentist calls. You will be a lab mice. Every time I went and checked my teeth, another doctor came and gave me a different opinion, so I was really confused. Of course, there is a professional orthodontist. Only one person. Remember. The orthodontist never does anything else. It's all about braces and changing rubber bands. All other work had to be done again with the appointment of a general dentist, which continued for more than two years back and forth. My teeth have not changed or progressed at all. After two years, when paying the treatment fee completely, the orthodontist said, "I don't think there will be any more benefits for you, so let's take out the braces, " and made a retainer to finish my correction. The metal part of the retiner itself makes the teeth wider apart, so the teeths are getting more awkward bite pattern, so I make a grinding sound every time I chew something. What on earth was my time, cost, and hardship for over two years? I hope you never waste your time and money in this ridiculous place.

The experiences that I’ve had, have been great.
30 mins is the most I’ve waited and that was only one time. Everyone in their staff are very polite and friendly. If you have a hard time getting an appointment it’s because they’re that good.

I had to see the Dentist prior to my other medical treatment. The office was very accommodating to me. I was seen and treated very nicely. The staff was professional and respectful. The Dr.was very caring to my needs. I like it there and plan on returning for future treatments.

I went to this place 3 times already and had an issue with the time frame of waiting. Not only is the booking an issue but also the waiting time in the waiting room an issue!

I don’t know the services, I went there for first time at 10.30 am for my DAD for emergency, he was having pain.but waited there until 2 pm to call.lady at the front were nice and tried to help but Dr and nurses all were busy and was taking break for lunch. For me it seemed they don’t care about patient. It was a bad experience at this place. I know other branch of ny Presbyterian (eye and cardiac) they are very nice and caring.

My insurance wouldn't cover crowns so I paid out of pocket. Then I received an Explanation Of Benefits letter from my dental insurance for hundreds of dollars paid out to NYHQ Dental School for unrelated items. Had nothing to do with the exam, xrays, fillings, nor cleaning. I was a self pay patient.

When I spoke with the financial manager she said I failed to pay one of my $5 co pays so I shouldn't complain. Unethical billing practices.

Years later, I still dissuade people from using the dental school due to my experience.
