As a past client of Newman, Anzalone, and Newman, professional law firm, I’m so very happy and satisfied with the way my personal injury case was handled. From the support staff, to the Attorneys, all my questions via phone or email, were answered immediately, and I also received frequent updates on the progress of my case.

Of course, it’s not up to the firm to do all the work, because I also had to do my part by religiously attending all physical therapy and doctors/surgeons appointments, which was closely monitored by the firm tracking my progress by way of follow up phone calls, which further added to my feeling my case was in the best hands handling it.

Basically, my pedestrian vs.auto case took a while, due to severity of my injuries, but when it came time for negotiations for settlement, the firm did exceptionally well! There was also another situation related to my original case, but referred to a colleague, and settled immediately, as well. The firm did an excellent job by having the cases settle out of court, which saved all of us time and effort.

In closing, I’d like to thank both Attorneys Morris and Greg, plus all support staff involved, for their time and effort put into my case. Resolution was quick, and now, I can go on with the rest of my life, knowing that the most difficult part of my accident was handled by a professional firm that I totally trusted from start to finish. I don’t hope accidents on anyone, but if it’s experienced, Newman, Anzalone and Newman is the firm to call!

I was rear ended by Mid Town electrical Corp in broad day lite by an under the influence driver. The driver destroyed his vehicle and I went to the hospital and I'm left with permanent damage to my neck back and shoulder. The driver of the vehicle could have killed someone on west 19 th street in Manhattan. Tickets were issued. For the whole time I have been asking about the driver that hit me but never got a straight answer from Newman. At the deposition the driver never showed up and someone else made a false statements. The driver never made a statement. They tried to get a phony deposition they are guilty of swearing in an impostor and false information under oath. JOSEPH MARANDA the driver of the truck was not at the deposition and still haven't produced a detox test on him. After confronting Newman he abandoned my case. I'm really sorry I put my trust in these people miss lead me the whole time. I feel that this law ferm sold me out never at my defence and lied and with held information then abandoned the whole case. SOLD ME OUT.

They got me a fair settlment " After I retained another lawyer in nyc I became upset when I felt I was being ignored by them, Morris Newman took my case after I explained tge facts of the case to him, im glad I did retain him and his firm, Only one bad thing abour this firm is the persons that answer the phone dont relay messages to the lawyers and the clients, had problems with the people thar answer the phone when you call, Overall the main the Main thing is they got me $$$$

I don’t understand how these clowns are still in business. I was hit by a car, had to have surgery and got absolutely nothing because the law firm failed to communicate simple information to me. Despite following up, never being able to get in contact with any of the lawyers, forget Newman, they still couldn’t find the time to tell me that the other party wanted to settle and I had only 30 days to respond. By law since that deadline was missed there was nothing I could do. Complete waste of time, energy, countless doctors visits, painful deposition all for NOTHING. Looking at previous reviews, I’m not the only person they’ve misled or made grave mistakes with. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE! Consider yourself warned!

If YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR STEER CLEAR of this firm. I am an educated Black woman who attended a top 50 ranked school. I had an unfortunate gym injury in the Summer of 2014 and while I was in the hospital my father contacted a lawyer on my behalf, Newman, Anzalone & Newman LLP: Gregory S. Newman. The attorney I was furnished was Greg Newman. He was attentive throughout the process helping me to navigate the court case. I needed financial assistance and he facilitated a predatory loan with an exasperated interest rate (I had a loan of $800 and ended up owing nearly four thousand back at the end of 2-2.5 years) I’m sure this is where they refer all of their in need clients. My doctor botched my surgery and I wanted to pursue legal action against him Greg told me that was outside the repertoire of his firm, when looking for counsel I was unsuccessful in finding an attorney willing to pick up the case being that the basis of the case, the accident was already in litigation with another attorney. I tried to leave the firm to find an attorney who could do all that I wanted but was told by Greg if I did that I would still have to pay his legal fee (I was stuck with a firm without the capacity to fulfill all of my legal needs). I had moved out of state during the time awaiting my trial. I would have to fly or drive from neighboring states which wasn’t problematic when I lived 2 hours from NYC. I was financially responsible for all of this money commuting to and from my respective state as well as when I was in NYC to no complaints. The opportunity for a final settlement before my case went to trial the lovely law firm decided to reimburse me for my last min flight during a holiday weekend before they indirectly coerced me into a settlement by NOT BEING WILLING TO PAY FOR A MEDICAL EXPERT’S TESTIMONY. I had depleted my savings moving into an apartment & paying funeral expenses I KNEW in 30 days I would not be able to pay the 10k average cost for the expert to testify, the firm knew that. They were so zealous to get me to NYC to break this news to me. I did not want to travel 1000 miles to get a SECOND subpar offer. I never wanted to settle my case I wanted to speak to a jury of my peers. They did NOT have confidence in my case and didn’t want anymore expenses. I settled because I didn’t have the money for the expert and the time to keep traveling across the country to go to court & such. I also knew that the timeline would allow me to make my BFF’s wedding. Which for me would be enough to get through the years of misery. I email Greg after speaking with his employee responsible for mailing my check and specify request NEXT DAY AIR. Small request for someone who paid nearly 100K in legal fees. Had my request been met I would have been happy! Greg, alleges he gave her permission but the lady had took it upon herself to send it certified mail she stated that since the check was cut there was no more money to expedite the shipping. I can SEND $50 for that? ! The office staff has a plethora of incompetencies, they’re a financially motivated firm not a humanistic firm. They put their needs before that of their client and only assist when it’s beneficial for them. I was manipulated and don’t want this to happen to anyone else. I will be bringing all of the aforementioned to the ethics committee. Please, if you aren’t rich do not use this firm. They will drag you through the ringer & not listen to your concerns. I’m beyond articulate and still was unable to have my needs met. I hope this review prevents this from happening to another person. Good luck to whomever is reading this.
