Absolutely horrible Customer Service experience. My mortgage was transferred over. I am very unhappy thus far.

Would give them zero if possible. Do not use unless you have to. My mortgage was transferred to them and you cannot even get anyone on the phone - web site gives access to third party personnel - supervisor unhelpful - do not pay your taxes on time even though you have the money in escrow and they are supposed to pay them. Stay away!

For some reason auto pay doesn’t work. It’s been set up since NewRez took over our mortgage and every time we call they don’t see any auto pay set up. It’s set up online in our account but they can’t see it and it doesn’t come out. Somehow they think an account password reset is going to fix it…huh. Multiple calls to customer service and nobody knows or can do anything. How?

Newrez is the worst mortgage lender I have ever dealt with. They messed up my closing documents so many times that it delayed the process and they had to run another credit report because of the time delay. Their communication response time is awful. I would never recommend them and can't wait until interest rates go down so that I can find another mortgage lender.

It's been difficult to reach anyone on the phone, and when I do, they are often unable to help me. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told that they couldn't transfer me, but that they would send a message to management to call me back.
