Niagara Produce of Lockport reviews
13 Excellent little grocery store, carrying the essentials - produce, a deli with various meats and breads, spices, condiments, snacks, et cetera. They even stock Carson's cookies, and used to have pints of Lake Effect ice cream. The prices are reasonable and the quality is great.
If you don't wanna drive to the full-sized market down Transit, or want good groceries close to home, this store's got you covered. Word of advice: the staff is polite and helpful, but don't get any ideas on abusing that kindness. They have a wall of shame, of people caught on camera who are not allowed back in.
But if you're not a crook, you're more than welcome here.:)
I found this place by accident, glad I did. Such a cute little place with a variety of foods. Some things are a bit higher priced, but I did get some things I normally dont get. I got a small palm tree, Costanzo rolls, macaroni salad, a great corn dip. I've never had it before. It was delicious. The lady at the counter was so nice & friendly. I would definitely go back.
Deli meats that don't break the bank and great deals on delicious cuts of meat at the butchers.oh and lots of farm fresh veggies and fruit! The staff is the nicest in town!
Women are so nice that work there! But it would be nicer if they had on their uniforms that they are supposed to wear so we can tell who works there!
I ordered a fruit tray from the Chestnut St, Lockport location for a work event and I was so thrilled it looked exactly like the photo on the website! The fruit was the right ripeness, neatly cut where applicable and impeccably arranged. The staff raved about how delicious it was! I appreciated the ease of ordering ahead and scheduling the pickup all online. The website was simple to navigate and I received a confirmation email shortly after I placed the order. Many thanks to all of you who were involved in creating the beautiful fruit tray!
I went there to buy one thing. But when I saw their prices on items I was. They are higher than most places on everything. The store is small so it gets crowded fast. Lots of people must have big $$ to go there I guess. Go see for yourself. The homemade pies are at $16.95 and one little slice was $8.49. I liked the store a few years ago. But for me I will not be returning. Too rich for me as just trying to survive.
Good place we can walk to and get fresh products! Also very accessible for people with disabilities. The staff is always kind and helpful.
You are never going to find a better place to buy food from and the staff are so wonderfully helpful!
Quiet place very friendly staff they always have a great attitude for a local store they have a good variety and are awesome in a pinch highly recommend
Great local place for produce and other items. The highlight is the butcher shop. Tons of options and the employees are happy to help with ideas for meals, preparing the items and making recommendations.
If you are buying in bulk this is a great way to save some extra cash or try one of their preselected meat packages.
Where else does anyone go at Christmas? The market has everything I need. One uptown and one downtown, doing very well, I see. Great place!
Great price and selection for fresh items. Small store can feel crowded, and means a limited selection of other goods.
I absolutely love the fresh produce that they have and sometimes they even have stuff on sale that they're trying to get rid of because it's a little old but it's still good and their employees are such great people there always cheerful happy and just great fun to be around thank you and keep it a special place.
