Japanese Restaurant Nikko reviews
25Nikko was AWESOME! It's a great place for a date night or family fun. The Hibachi chef's really put on a great show! It's very entertaining. Lots of laughs. It's very interactive and engaging. The food is superb! The drinks are amazing! You definitely get a bang for your buck! It's totally worth it!
Great fresh food! Their sushi selection is amazing and always fresh. Their Chinese food is fresh and delicious! The Hibachi menu is really good!
Great atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very nice!
Omg, I will definitely come back again. The food and the service were excellent. It looks like a small place from the outside but it's huge inside.
Food Critic Experience:
I personally loved this place.
Clean.
Food is fresh and delicious.
Workers are nice, respectful and attentive.
Went for lunch at 12: 40 on a Monday. We got seated immediately and were in and out in about 45 min. Nice staff. I had the 3 roll lunch special with salad (can have miso soup instead), $12. Boston roll was ok - lettuce made it a little watery. Spicy tuna was good. Eel and avocado was very tasty. Overall, very good spot for work lunch.
The hibachi experience is good (impressive showmanship), the rolls are good, the sauces are good.
And when my friend handed the server $80 on a $65 bill, which already included gratuity (because the restaurant automatically adds it to the bill), and he waited for his change, he did not receive the expected $15 until he asked for his change.
She had put the change owed in the tip jar.
A solid hibachi spot. A fairly standard menu with meats, seafood, and vegetarian options. Our Hibachi chef was incredibly friendly and funny, doing tricks and making jokes through the whole experience. Service was fast and continuously friendly, and the decor was wonderful. The actual food was delicious as well. Make sure to try their white sauce!
Tne menu selection is good. As creative as the chefs are they arw also funny. *The kids liked it alot.
Found this place near Columbia University. They have an excellent lunch menu with many fresh options. The lunch comes with soup, rice, salad and four small sushi rolls. Perfect for like 11 bucks.
Great food but I have been there for a few times now and always tip well. They keep charging me $1 for spicy mayo so I do not think they care or want my services anymore, that is not fair since I spend money there
The service here was wonderful and the food was even better. My cousin had a great I’m for her birthday
A hidden gem in the heart of Harlem. Portions are very large and full of flavor. Sharing option available for an additional five dollar's. The show is very entertaining for kids. You have to share the table with others if you dont have a party of eight. Prices for Hibachi grill average fourteen dollar's.
Good food, their lunch boxes are really cheap and have a lot of stuff including multiple sushi rolls.
Our chef was very personable. Generous portions. Only draw back was that the waiter seemed in a rush to take our order. The restaurant wasn't very crowded either at the time.
Always have a great time when i go here! Great vibes, entertainment, and food. Especially the drinks are very good and strong
This is not japanese restauran It's Chinese restaurant. All of people are Chinese. And taste, atmospher are Chinese. I want to say never use japanese name. I was very very disappointed.
Nice decor, spacious with a large bar & habachi area. Nice size portions for the price, even when ordering online which is how l first tasted Nikko's cuisine.
The staff is courteous and the service is very good depending on the customer crowd.
It was my first time ever to a hibachi restaurant and I must admit this is the best hibachi restaurant ever thank you for making my birthday dinner a night to remember
The service and food was excellent after I give birth I’m definitely coming back with my daughter
Nice place, reasonable prices, friendly staff. It is a little dark in the inside, but the atmosphere is great. I don't know why they don't show the hibachi menu unless you ask for it. Overall, it is a nice place to have lunch with your friends close to Columbia University.
This was a beautiful atmosphere inside despite outwardly questionable presentation. During the week, there is a lunch box special that offered more food than I could have imagined eating! We got sushi, steamed rice, salad, soup, and a lunch entree for $10. Felt like a NYC steal! Should I find myself back in Manhattan, I will visit and enjoy this restaurant again!
