I was operated on by Dr Nima Maghami 2 weeks ago. I was a complicated case as, long ago, I had had former surgeries where my intestines had been burned, hence lots and lots of scar tissue that made his work much longer and much more complicated than expected. But he still managed to perform the surgery through laparoscopy, and I was released the next day, with hardly any discomfort. Before and after the surgery he readily answered all my questions and boosted my morale. I have been very lucky as Dr Nima Maghami took such good care of me. Thank you so much!

Dr Maghami is very caring, compassionate and very considerate doctor. He told me simple life style changes that will help me with my problem. It was very helpful for me. His pleasant calm approach took away a lot of my anxiety and I left the office a happy person. I have full confidence in his expertise and care. He and his assistant was very thorough and kind. Great experience. Would recommend Dr Maghami to anyone needing abdominal surgery. Mine was a nasty gall bladder. His laparoscopic surgery with tiny incisions made my recovery time almost nothing. Dr. M is quiet, personable and a great surgeon.

Dr. Maghami is a kind, brilliant doctor who leads a terrific care team. I went to NYP Weill Cornell ED with severe abdominal pains last Tues night. Dr. Maghami & team operated on me Wed morning to remove my perforated appendix. After 7 days total (5 in hospital), I had the drain removed and am almost fully recovered. They saved my life and I am so grateful! I highly recommend.
