Ninth Street Espresso, New York NY

Cozy and cute coffee shop with great cappuccino. Good for a sit-in if you have work to do or study. I gave it 4 stars only because of the music is too loud and can be distracting if you work inside.
Not wheelchair accessible (3 deep steps) but has outside seating area.

The barista with the mustache and glasses is so rude and unwelcoming. I will not be going back because of his treatment of customers. The coffee isn’t that great, especially for the price

Really good oat milk latte! The barista was one of the few that understand what my request of light ice means! He was also super friendly. The cafe was quiet and clean. Comfortable to sit in on a hot day to cool off

I come here all the time. The vibe is good, the coffee and tea are good quality, and the staff is always really kind. I do wish there were more food options but I am very content with what they do offer. It’s always a pleasure to sit down with a drink and pastry and try to get some work done

I been buying and drinking their coffee (alphabet city) for almost 7 years now, very good coffee, friendly staff.

Coffee was pretty good quality. They didn't have almond milk though, not sure if they ran out or only carry oat/soy. Good price though at $3

This is a nice little cafe to get lattes cappuccinos little snacks in a very mellow environment I originally gave it before Stars because doing some part of the pandemic they weren't very nice to me but I understand now it wasn't really their fault everybody was just freaking out but I've been back there since and it's just very mellow the coffee is really good and I record recommend it to anyone that wants to sit with their phone computer and not be bothered very quiet mellow atmosphere good place

Coffee is unsophisticated but good (I usually get the expresso with steamed milk). I especially like the service at this location. Avoid sleeping in if you want the blueberry and cream cheese pastries though! Those are usually gone by 9: 30 or 10.

Cute little coffee place. They have decaf, unlike a lot of other places. Adorable location. Quite small. Rather sparse decorations and vibe. A place for a quick cup and rest.

Ninth Street Expression is a a landmark coffee join in Alphabet City.probably the first legit coffee shop in the ABC where quality and customer service come first as Starbucks and other large chains took over NYC’s coffee landscape.the interior is modern, welcoming, clean, and quiet-ish.there’s a good amount of seating and some benches right outside the entrance.i really enjoy the expresso in the past but have been more about the iced coffee for the past couple of years bc it’s smooth, light & flavorful, and has a nice even caffeine kick.the coffee program here is pretty simple but everything on it is done consistently and well.iced coffee will run you about $4 + tax + tip
