The pre-op, surgical, and post-op care I received from Dr. Chinitz was outstanding! Everyone at Greenwich Hospital outpatient surgery was so caring and professional. I put off my toe fusion surgery for a long time, but once I met Dr. Chinitz I knew I was in the best of hands. I’m pain free and back to all normal activities. Thank you Dr. Chinitz for being a kind, compassionate, highly skilled surgeon!

I suffered from hallux rigidus for years, and was limited to what shoes I could wear and was in constant pain when I finally decided to see if Dr. Chinitz could help. Part of my exercise routine has always involved walking for fitness and running. I was still doing those things but with pain.
He suggested a cheilectomy which would also help with a forming bunion. That was one year ago, in January of 2022.
I have since been to three weddings, (the first one was in March 2022, just three months after my surgery) where I wore heels and danced, I am back to walking AND running with no pain and my range of motion is almost where it was but I suffer no impediments because of it.
I am eternally grateful to the expertise, professionalism and genuine compassion shown by Dr. Chinitz throughout the whole process. Highly recommend! Life is too short to be in pain!

Dr. Chinitz changed my life. I had neuroma in my foot and suffered with it for 2 years thinking there was nothing I could do. It was so painful I gave up skiing and other activities I love. I was afraid to have the surgery, but I am so glad I did with Dr. Chinitz. It only took a month for me to feel 100 percent better. I have already been skiing and wearing shoes I couldn’t wear before. The pain is completely gone and it feels like a miracle. I am so grateful:)

Was nasty offered no help came in with swollen foot ankle Dr did not examine foot or ankle looked down at ankle and foot said need ankle X-rays then left room after X-rays came back into room have no idea what’s wrong and left would never recommend such a nasty inconsiderate doctor.

Dr. Chinitz is no nonsense, to the point, confident and extremely professional. He recommended surgery for my broken ankle after letting me know my options and showing me the x-rays - explaining exactly why surgery was necessary for my break. Let me know that I would be back to normal within a few months.and he was right. Thank you Dr. Chinitz!

Was in a terrible car accident in 2016. Broke 1st, 2nd, and 3rd metatarsals in my right foot. Couldn’t walk or stand for more than a few minutes after first surgery with a different doctor. I lived like that for 4 years. Started losing hope.
In 2020 I met Dr. Chinitz and he performed reconstructive surgery on my foot. Since then I’m able to walk for miles, exercise and stand for as long as I need to. My quality of life has improved drastically and my hope is restored.
Dr. Chinitz is an excellent doctor, very knowledgeable and he has a peaceful presence that lets you know that everything is going to be alright. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need.

Dr Chinitz treated a family member for a complex ankle injury. He operated with skill and treated her with professional skill and compassion.

I went to Dr. Chinitz for a foot injury that ended up not being surgical. Even though sports injuries are not his specialty he continued to treat me and did not refer me to a sports medicine doctor. I went for a second opinion and was told the treatment he was giving me for my foot was not standard or necessary. I am glad I switched doctors because Dr. Chinitz was not helpful.
