North Island Dental Arts LLC reviews
24Ever since management changed, the quality of this place has dropped significantly. They don't do a thorough job anymore and it's all about money. Hope they can figure it out and go back to quality over quantity.
Dentist told me I needed a deep cleaning and said I can’t wait for approval, they charged my $175 and told me when they get the check they will reimburse me.still waiting for my $175.6 months later they are sending me text saying I need my check up. How bout you send me my $175.
I am glad that I hired the services of North Island Dental & Arts for dental implants in Long Island. I would definitely say that the services offered were of top quality. Highly recommended!
I visited North Island Dental & Arts for a regular dental implants in Long Island. I must say I was truly impressed with the services. The experts not only helped me with the checkup but also made me feel comfortable. Five stars to the services.
Absolutely awful experience. Changed my primary care dentist to their office and they refused to see me even though insurance confirmed that the change went through and I was already en route. They were more concerned with money. Not so nice people.
The staff is efficient and very friendly. In Long Island, I feel very confident while being treated. I recommend all.
I had a wonderful experience at North Island Dental Arts. Family Dentist are very knowledgeable, thorough and professional.
Before I got to meet the dentist, I had an awesome hygienist who was super nice and the best thing about this place, but she accidentally put the suction thing on my uvula and now it’s swollen for days, and I received no apology. Besides that, when meeting the dentist, she tried to get me to get braces, get 3 teeth removed, get a mouthguard, go to an ortho, all in five minutes. I’m 24, and my teeth are nowhere in pain or in need of braces, at this point it’s all cosmetic. When I told her I couldn’t afford a mouthguard (which I do need), she said I need to get better insurance. That’s a heavy statement to tell a young person, especially as a dentist who makes a good living. Then she tells the scribe, “write in file that patient refuses next steps”, NO. I can’t afford the next steps. When I was trying to leave, the receptionist told me to wait while the dentist and receptionist whispered about trying to convince me to get a guard. Then I was told I can “even split up the $650 cost in two payments”. I refused once more, left, then got a call saying “I left my insurance card” when they just forgot to give it back. Overall, it was a sour experience and I won’t be going back.
Do yourself the favor and STAY AWAY! The worst dental experience ever. I went there for a cleaning and the wait was longer than the actual cleaning. I felt like if they just brushed my teeth and not cleaned them well. Very rude staff in that office and do not know how to treat people with respect. The cleaning are not even done by the dentist it is done by the dental assistant. They told me to come back in 5 months instead of 6 months just so I could pay out of pocket and not have my insurance pay for it.
They are really crooks and know how to get you for your money. I wasnt happy with the way the staff spoke to me on the phone telling me if I do not show up to the next appoinment I will get charge. Yelling at me on the phone as if I was a child. NEVER GOING BACK, plenty of great and better dentist clinics in the area to waste time in this dental office.
Dr. Kaur is the best dentist in Long Island! Absolutely amazing hands and extremely gentle. I’ve always been afraid of dentists but after meeting with the staff at North Island Dental Arts I’ve been extremely comfortable with my visits. Highly recommend her! Great with kids as well the hygienist are amazing!
I am a coffee lover! My day is incomplete without 4-5 cups of coffee daily. Also, smoking is something that I cannot miss upon. I recently discovered that because of excessive caffeine intake and smoking my teeth had started to become yellow and I was really worried about it. I finally decided to visit the dentists at the North Island Dental Arts for advice. The doctors there suggested me to go for the teeth whitening treatment. Now I have pearly white smile! I am highly satisfied with the performance of North Island Dental Arts and will definitely visit them again. 5 stars to the services of this dental clinic.
I am very pleased with the doctors and staff here. They listen and answer all your questions. The staff actually care that you get the best service possible. I usually have a fear of going to the dentist, but Dr. Kaur is very nice and gentle. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great care and customer service. I’m glad I chose this dentistry!
If you are a new patient expect to take an hr and 45 minutes plus. If you are a patient you will be in and out in 20-40 minutes.
I don’t usually write reviews but after receiving the services of north island dental arts, I was convinced to share my review. My daughter is fond of cola drinks. Because of which her teeth had become stained and became darker in color. I discussed this issue with my friend and she advised me to consult the doctors at North Island Dental Arts. I finally decided to take my daughter there. Obviously, I was hesitant at first but after meeting the dentists, I was relieved. The dentist there evaluated my daughters teeth and gave the best teeth whitening treatment. I highly recommend the dental services at North Island Dental Arts.
Thanks to North Island Dental Arts, I can now smile and talk confidently today. I had severely damaged teeth. While I was searching for a reliable dental clinic to get a dental implant, a friend recommended this clinic. The dentists here are certified, experienced and polite. The dentist also gave me proper after-surgery instruction for fast recovery. And, I did not have any complications. I highly recommend North Island Dental Arts.
I got the worst experience possible in this dental office. The dentist charged me $250 for a cap on top of the Insurence. I had DC 37 insurance and DC 37 pays all expenses if the dental office participates with them. They told me they do take DC 37 but, it showed that they lied in the payment.
I got another cap from a different dentist and It was free.
Please do not go to this dental office.
If I could give zero stars I would. Dr Kaur drilled my 2 front teeth down to nothing where there was a small filling that needed replacement. She put filling in where I can’t move floss through between the 2 teeth. She also said repeatedly that if I bite something hard the filling will break and I will need caps. Makes me think she set it up to give herself more business. Not from me. She just destroyed 2 of my teeth. I will be filing a State Education Department Professional Misconduct report.
This is the best dentist I have been to. The whole team was very professional, accommodating and welcome. Dr. Dhar removed the filling in my tooth that my painful and replaced it. The follow ups have been great.
If I could give 0 star, I would. DO NOT waste your time or money at this place. I've been there 4 times (you'd think I'd learn my lesson after the first time) and they were ALL horrible experiences. Nothing is ever on time; super slow service. If you schedule an appointment at 4, be prepared to sit and wait until 5. I've seen 1 dentist the first 3 times I visited. The 4th time I visit she just walks out the office without saying a word to me then I find out they scheduled me with someone else (never seen or met) after I waited for 40 mins. If I've dealt with 1 person for my treatment plan for the last 3 visits, WHY on earth would I be comfortable with another dentist touching my teeth; one that I didn't even know was taking over. People do that? One Saturday I sat there from 10: 40am till 3pm, way after they closed. Unprofessional and rude. No one has time to waste. I will never return.
So at north island dental, it’s very professional, its clean but I find getting appointments and staffing is very limited. My husband is in the process of a root canal and cap replacement for whatever reason behind it, he needs like 3 visits for measurements, but of course he works 9-5 mondays and you have to stick to the same dentist. I found scheduling is limited and it’s pretty frustrating being we’ve co payed in advance for this treatment and started it.it’s taking over 3 months to finalize this root canal. I mean we shouldn’t switch dentist at this time I’m sure, it better to allow the same dentist who started to finish.
