North Star Tavern reviews
17We really enjoyed our meal and the whole experience. My French onion soup was fantastic and my burger was perfect.
Service was EXTREMELY fast. The food was very good, at a reasonable price. It was crowded, but on a Friday night it is expected
Food Was Great! Had a fish fry and it was all good.usually don't eat the side salads.but it was all Good!
This is a great place! We recently were here for a family party. The roast beef, stuffed shells, roasted potatoes and vegetables were deilcious! The salad was fresh and crisp! The drink selection is great. The atmosphere is very clean and comfortable.
We had a great meal. Fish fry was perfectly crispy, bread and oil app was delicious and we will be back.
A little too noisy for me; would probably try to be seated in the banquet room away from the bar when we go again. They made the polish sausage Reuben for me without the bread (I'm gluten intolerant) and it was delicious. My husband's burger was good, too.
We got to spend our evening around the beautifully lit outdoor patio table and then the awesome fire pit. It made a wonderful double bday celebration!
One of my favorites for I have never been even close to being disappointed. Great place for a date. Looking forward to returning soon. I can be a hard critic being in the past business for 18 years. Enjoy
An Elma hidden treasure.
Friendly service, Great food. I have to say that the owners have really stepped it up a notch. Menu is more than adequate from small plate selection to a full entre. We had an awesome evening out from our drinks from Sandy at the bar, food and service from the rest of the house.
Great food, staff and atmosphere. Ordered the half fish fry ($11) and got quite a bit of food and it included German potato salad. Since I've moved to Florida, it's been years since I've had German potato salad, but it tastes just like how my grandma makes it.
Last night was our first time there. I ordered the roast beef on weck and my husband ordered the beer battered fish fry. Both were excellent! We will be back!
This place is so cozy and inviting. The food is amazing and the lemon raspberry dessert is to die for! I will definitely be coming back again!
This is one of the hidden gems of Elma. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. I would highly recommend it, even though it means longer waits for a table for me. Delicious!
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Everything on the menu is great, I especially recommend the pierogi's, fish fries and any soup!
Sad to say I wasn't impressed with the fish fry. Texture was great, but it lacked flavor. The sides were homemade and good. My friend had the polish platter, and she said it was delicious.
Absolutely fabulous food. The polish soups are homemade, you can tell that there are no mixes used and no shortcuts taken.
The Reuben was hands down one of the best I've had, and the polish Reuben was also phenomenal.
Service was a little slow with as empty as the place was, but bartender / waitress was very friendly.
Great beer battered fish fry not grease at all. Great bar staff. Introduced to Tom & Jerry. Great drink.
