North Suffolk Neurology, Port Jefferson Station NY

Long time patient of North Suffolk Neurology but never written a review but had extraordinary care this week and had to say something. There was a change when I woke up and I was concerned so I called and asked if I can come in urgently. Well, I expected to be told a month or so for urgent visit. Nope! They said come right in. Come right in! I went in and was professionally taken care of. I am just so impressed and thankful with what was done for me. Had to say something. I love this practice.

Excellent doctors here. I did have one problem, they sent my urine test out of my network and I was charged a thousand dollars

First time I was examined by a wonderful caring PA who took the time to look at my needs and gave me meds to help resolve a neurosis. My next appointment was with a young doctor that gave me a similar medicine without explaining possible side effects. I lost a whole Saturday with friends because of a "high" side effect from this new drug. On Monday I called the office, couldn't get through to speak with someone (very busy office with no or hard to find leave a message option) so I went to thee office and left a message to have the doctor call me. WENESDAY 50 HOURS LATER I got a return call from this Doctor to get advise from this doctor. By that time i had received advise from friends and my personal physician. I was not happy with this practice!

I have not yet gone to my appointment, but I have been struggling recently and reached out to this office for an appointment. Despite their busy schedule and being booked 3-4 weeks in advanced, they listened to my concerns and managed to find a near appointment for me. I explained that I would prefer a later appointment, but took what they gave me and was satisfied. What is making me write this review is that they actually listen to what I said. They had a cancellation for a later time which fits better in my schedule, and Laurie/Lori (unsure of the spelling) called me back to offer that appointment slot to me, because she understood the conflict of time. To do this for a new patient is significant, and I am beyond happy with the service and care I have so far received. My appointment is not until tomorrow, but I hope that it is just as amazing as the experience of booking the appointment. Thank you so incredibly much for actually listening to your patient's needs and being person-centered. I greatly appreciate you!

I've been to many doctors. After 18 injections, dozen meds, multiple rounds of physical therapy, doctors, neurologists and surgeons I found this place. I have so far seen 2 doctors here. I was not fond of one but the other doctor to me is hands down a hero. At other places it was pills and injections. No clear answers. I will be honest one of the doctors I did see here I was unhappy with and almost made me not return. She wanted more pt and meds. I was prescribed muscle relaxers when I had nerve issues. Was very dismissive. Did not listen. I had to repeat myself. I left frustrated and with no clear path forward. I decided to come back once more and see dr honor. This man is a hero. He was kind, down to earth, honest, and straight forward. He told me exactly what was going on. The following day I was recommended for surgery due to spinal cord compression. I will continue to come here and or nerve pain. He will be my go to doctor.

Very caring and understanding. Took time out of the weekend to fix a prescription issue that otherwise would have had to wait until Monday. Great customer service and top notch treatment. Thank you!

Happy with the care I receive here over the last two years. I find the new Port Jefferson office to be very clean and pleasant environment. Over the years I have recommended them to friends and family. Very good care here.

Yesterday I came on this site being very disappointed in Dr. Spinner. For those that may not have seen the recent post I was extremely sick with vertigo As soon as I posted my review the office manager reached out to me. She was so concerned about me, and wanted to find out what happened (Donna). Maybe someone just didn’t have the knowledge of squeezing people in, but I’m happy to say that the way it was rectified it shows Dr. Spinner doesn’t like that treatment for any of his patients
Donna was devastated that I was turned away, and had me in immediately the next morning. Something somewhere went terribly wrong that day I was seeking help. I’m not sure but I am so happy that they truly stand by their word that they are always there for all their patients. I’m happy to be back at Dr. Spinners office.

Came here to be seen for headaches because I heard they gave great care from a friend. True to the word I was well taken care of. Overall I have a lot more control of my headaches. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to this practice for maybe 2 years now and couldn’t be happier with the doctors and PAs that I’ve seen. I just left my first appointment at the new office in Port Jeff and not sure if the reception staff changed as well, but they were extremely rude and unwelcoming, especially the girl with reddish hair that checked me in. I’ve always had nothing but pleasant interactions with everyone but not today. Could have been a bad day but the practice itself is great, they have helped me so much and listened to my concerns to get me better.

I am not a patient here but my close family member is. She has to continue to go there for insurance and medical reasons. She won't post a review as I've asked because she is afraid she'll be treated poorly in her ongoing treatment. Appalling that a medical office would do such things! Have a little respect for people! Time for an office meeting there! Not hearsay as I was listening on her cellphone.

I have had an excellent experience seeing the doctors and professionals from this practice. The care I have received is exceptional and would never go any place else. As so many of the other reviews have said I would highly recommend this practice for all your needs.

Excellent! I just wanted to leave a review because I found the service and care to be excellent. This practice really really cares and it shows. Dr. Spinner was right on target with my treatment plan and I have never felt better.

Dr Warren Spinner;I wanted to take some time to express how much I really appreciate miss Anna Tovano, this lady is the most sweetest, gentle and professional! I’m going through a little hard time in my life, I got into a car accident, and I have been having some trouble trying to get stuff done, I needed help to fill up some forms, and like always from the first time i spoke to miss Anna; I felt comfortable and less stress! She reassured me that if I needed help she could help me fill up the forms; Who does that? Nobody cares;
Well Miss Anna Tavano does! Thank you for having such a wonderful employee, miss Anna is one of a kind, and whenever I think of your clinic I will always have a smile because of her! ️

To echo the other 5-star reviews, the doctor and the staff have been extremely helpful to me with a variety of my issues. Despite having a busy practice, I’m almost always able to schedule an appt.within a few days of my calling and receive a response to my phone questions often the same day. I’ve been to many MDs in my life, and it’s rare I’ve found one as knowledgeable, accommodating, and concerned as Dr. Youssefian! Thank you for great care!

Great office. Excellent staff. Really happy I came after my friend recommended for my bad headaches. I am so much better now. I saw Dr. Spinner and he started me on the road to much better days. I've also seen Casey at the office and she is so nice. Tonight, I was talking to the same friend that sent me to the office and she asked me how I was and I said "great". After that I figured I should give the office credit it was due. Thank you!
