OMG I experienced the same issues as Buyer Beware. You get an email to confirm your appointment, then no zoom meeting is scheduled afterwards which happened 3x. Patty, the receptionist or scheduler lied & said she sent out the zoom meets & the NP never reached out when of course not hearing from me. This place should not give so much power to a rude receptionist & the place is not run well. Speaking of running.that's exactly what you should do. Find a place that is welcoming & has people who care! Zero stars is more like it. What a waste of time!

I wish I could leave zero stars. This office is still doing only tele health appointments, no in person appointments. Lunacy. With the health crisis in this country I truly feel bad for people that desperately need mental health services. I had to wait 2 months for a tele health appointment. I was told that the day before the appointment I would receive an email link to conduct the appointment via video conference. I got the text message to confirm the appointment two days prior. I texted ‘1’ to confirm. The day of the appointment arrives. Crickets. No phone call, email, text. Nothing. I try to call the office. No one available. As usual. Have to leave a message. How is this operation successfully treating anyone with mental watch problems? It isn’t. The entire industry is nothing but legal pill pushing. Their office isn’t even open on Fridays. Laughable. Absolutely laughable.

I have been going here for over 10 years. I absolutely love my psychiatrist and my psychologist. If it weren't for them. I would be lost. The staff is very kind and friendly. That's my experience. I give them 10 Stars.

I'm someone who suffers from bipolar disorder and ADHD. I was cursed out, demeaned, made fun of, and dismissed by Candy just because I had questions about why my medications were not refilled.

These people need to be reported to the Board of Health. DO NOT TREAT WITH THEM.

I was a patient at this practice for 10+ years for anxiety and ADD. Dr. Schefflein, god rest his soul, kept the visit short and sweet since nothing had changed for 10yrs & if I wanted to up a med he trusted my judgment. Despite Schefflein taking on too many patients for the office to handle, Patty and Debbie are incredible. Schefflein’s replacement, Sarah Wolk, took on all his patients that were medicated and relied on benzodiazepines. Two months in, she tells everyone that she doesn’t prescribe them and she tries to taper everyone off. She is the reason I found a different doctor but my brother stayed; when she tried to do the same to him she breached patient confidentiality and told him “that is the reason your sister left. ” Please do not get treated by this woman!

Dr. Feminella is a DREAM but Patty his receptionist doesn’t answer the phone so making an appointment has been impossible and I’ve run out of medication for the 2nd time and am experiencing withdrawals.

Patty is excellent. She always returns your call within the day. Sarah is excellent as well. These gals get it done.

Horrible Practice. They now do tele medicine.if you miss the call you miss the appointment. Called the office 3 times the day of appointment the visit with my contact info. They said I missed appointment. Been a client for 4 years. They just cut me off my anxiety medication. No accountability. Office staff rude, Uncaring. Save yourself the trouble don t even waste your time.

I've had nothing but good experiences with this office (Dr. Feminella). They always call to make my next appointment, return my phone calls, call in my refills super fast, etc.

Rude and they let you run out of your medication. My insurance company has been made aware of this. Don't use these so called Drs

Dr. Shefflein was a rare breed, helped me immensely after having tired all the well known & lesser known psychiatric services in putnam, dutchess, ulster county. I hope that future doctors study his work in psychiatry and take several pages from his book, as I can say most in psychiatry are ignorant to the needs of the client & are only interested in spotting symptoms. When you do that, everything a person does to varying degrees can be viewed as symptomatic of SOMEthing. He also recommended me to an excellent therapist lori dritz who I still see to this day. Office staff is always reliable & pleasant, never rude as some are saying. I might think that's all coming from a place of elevated expectations of the role of mental health services. If you are realistic about your mental health & know that YOU have a responsibility to make sure you have enough meds, and do the work on your own to learn about your diagnosis & make every effort to maintain wellness, there is NO better service than NPS. If you value being treated like a human being & not a stereotyped & stigmatized, generalized checklist of symptoms, there is no better service in the new york area than NPS.

They never call you to schedule another appointment. Plus you can. Leave 1 message and wait for weeks at a time and still no call from them. I've ran out of medicine. This place sucks big time.

They have been very good to me. NP Paden is a very professional and always refilling meds on time.

The rudest people I have ever dealt with in the medical field. They NEVER answer the phone first of all and they treat you like your just some annoying pos because they don’t do their job. I’ve had them hang up on me before because I asked them if they could transfer me to one of the doctors and they just said no and hung up. Worst customer service I’ve EVER experienced in my life. Don’t even bother calling with an emergency question or problem either because they won’t get back to you for at least 4 days.

My kid go to these place and if you need to get ahold of someone forget it, you can’t and then they want to charge you $50 for no calling a day before. I tank is b.

They never answer the phone. I've been trying to remake an appointment for the past 3 months and each time the phone goes through some painfully long automated message before getting to "we're busy.we'll call you" and they never do.
