I recently bought a PRS guitar from northfield music. Not being sure what I wanted I made several trips in and joe and Alex were both great every time. They are extremely knowledgeable about there products and never pressured me to buy anything I wasn’t sure of. They gave me fair value for my trade ins and a great price on the guitar I bought. They took the time to answer every question I had never pressuring me to go for the higher priced items and eventually leading me to a slightly cheaper model that fit my needs better. I would recommend anyone and everyone to northfield from beginners to professionals they have the knowledge and service to make your buying experience easy and truly help you find the instrument that fits you and your needs the best. Thanks again you guys definitely made me a customer for life.

Amazing customer service. I made an online order and there was some confusion so it didn’t arrive within 2-3 days. I called and the people at Northfield Music were so personable and helpful. I received my order within the next day or so and couldn’t be happier.

Me and a group of 3 other coworkers decided to stop in after work to look at a beginner guitar for one of my friends, and a prs for myself. When we entered we were told that we practically can’t play the guitars to keep the wear and tear down. He wouldn’t even let my friend play because his jacket had buttons on it. This is understandable but how am I supposed to know if I like a guitar if I can barely play it. The employee there today (not the owner, the owner is a much more inviting man) stood over our shoulders as we tried our guitars. He was very short in conversation when I asked if they do trade in and financing as I really wanted the guitar. He ended up taking a long phone call, helping a customer who walked in long after I was in to trade my guitar and purchase a much more expensive one, and then taking yet another call while me and my group waited for him to finish up helping other people. I was offered a somewhat fair price but was so turned off by the experience that I declined. In essence, if you want an Ibanez, or a Paul Reed product that isn’t carried elsewhere, they have it all, but otherwise, maybe look for another shop.

I would like to add that pricing is definitely fair and Joe the owner (not the man from this visit) has been great the other 2 times I’ve been in a purchased smaller things like cords and strings and things of that nature and has even let me hold the same guitar without getting antsy. It’s a good store but this experience was extremely off putting.

I have been a regular customer of Northfield Music for many years, buying, selling, and trading my way through most of anything they have had). I recently purchased a Revv D20 amp from Joe at Northfield and had them ship it to Idaho where I moved in September from NY. My main reason for this was the excellent service and personal attention I have received there for 30ish years. Joe and the crew he has working there, Alex, John, Bob, etc.have all become friends I can rely on to not only help, but insure that I am pointed in the right direction for MY needs and taste. As far as the Revv is concerned, it is without a doubt one of the best purchases I have ever made. It sounds glorious and the features for both gigs and recording are amazing. I will continue to purchase from Northfield and have them ship to me because I can always count on the best from them. I only regret that there are not 6 stars)

This communist has a sign outside his shop window saying that if you are not fully shot up with the experimental gene editing technology that is being played off as a vaccine, you must wear a mask. If you are a person who knows that the PCR test is a farce, this whole pandemic is built on a lie, these experimental gene therapies ARE DEADLY, and this whole 'casedemic' has been about a global reset, totalitarian government takeover AND genocide, don't go to this man's shop unless you mean to spit in his face. He is anti-freedom, anti-America and helping to advance this agenda that ALL INTELLIGENT PEOPLE are going against at this point. It's because of uninformed communists like the him that we are still in this situation as of 10/13/21! Do not support this shop if you are against totalitarianism, medical tyranny, segregation slavery and murder.

As a complete novice who's never played or owned an instrument the staff made me feel comfortable the moment I walked in the door. They answered all of my questions and helped me pick out a stunning guitar that I absolutely love and will play for years. The pricing on their products is great! I couldn't find the guitar I bought cheaper anywhere, not in a big box store or online (Amazon, Ebay, etc) so I feel great about my purchase. They've earned a customer for life that will highly recommend Northfield Music to my friends and family. They also offer lessons so I will take advantage of that service also.

I just bought my 3rd guitar from Northfield. Joe and his staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. No pressure and total honesty. My newest find is a PRS single cut custom and it is perfect. Joe helped me find a neck that worked well for my arthritis. They have a great selection from beginner to extremely high end instruments.

Wonderful music store.have known Joe for years. If you haven't been to Northfield, do yourself a favor and check it out.you won't be disappointed!

Undoubtedly the best local music store in the area. I've known Joe, the owner for 30 plus years and I cannot say enough good things about him as a business owner and musician!

Northfield Music is a gem of a music store. It's large enough to hold a couple hundred guitars (electric and acoustic), basses, ukuleles, amplifiers, effects pedals, cords and other equipment while maintaing that small "neighborhood shop" feel. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Despite being one of the best guitarists in the region, proprietor Joe Chiappone is affable and accessible. A really good guy. Fair pricing on Anderson, Paul Reed Smith, Ibanez, Yamaha and many other major brands of instruments. Worth checking out!

Love it going back tomorrow for more gear. And I did I love my new acoustic bass! And when I looked up the price I saved a lot!
