Northport Golf Course

We've only recently begun playing this nine-hole course and really enjoy it, we knocked off one star because it can tend to be a bit slow taking two and a half hours and even longer sometimes. The staff are super friendly and it's affordable and the course is very forgiving if not hilly. I wish there were more drink and food options but that won't stop us from coming back.

We play there once a week all season long from opening month till close, great bunch of people running the place. Frank one of the starters keeps. Things moving well can't wait till opening week

Hidden gem in Suffolk! Great 9 hole course to get in a quick and affordable round in. Pretty wide open, well maintained and straight forward, very small greens which is the courses defense so approach shots have to be pretty accurate. People there are super friendly from staff to players.

One of the best kept courses! John (the owner) and the whole staff are amazing. They have a great program for members. They work with you to get everyone out to play if it’s possible. Great prices! Hands down one of my favorite courses

Great 9 hole course to practice your game and hone your skills. The Northport VA Golf Course is in good shape and the staff is "golfer friendly". Try it and you'll be "hooked"! Oh, by the way, did I mention their signature clubhouse "Oyster Bar"? Enjoy!

Really beautiful course. Don’t let the short 9 holes trick you, it’s a challenging course. Very friendly staff. I was fortunate enough to join three men who worked for the course. They were welcoming, encouraging and an overall great time. I decided to become a member, why not, it’s free!

The course is in pretty good shape. Needs tweaking here & there but for the price you can't beat it. Office does very good job spacing starts. It was busy but no waiting at tees.

Northport VA is a beautiful golf course, well maintained and the staff couldn't be nicer. I joined their free membership earlier in the season and today's round was free. To make things even better. My father in law got a hole in 0ne today on the 9th hole. It was the 3rd in his lifetime.

Very nice, open course. For us senior citizens, the par 4s can be reached in 2. My only complaint is that the greens are very small, so you may be doing alot of chipping and pitching. I am a pretty good putter, so the small greens hurt my game a little.

Well maintained course with courteous and helpful staff. Forgiving and challenging at the same time. I am grateful I live nearby.

This is a great course to get out and practice on. Course has never been in really bad shape. Pace has always been acceptable for 9 holes, which is my biggest issue with other courses and the guys in the clubhouse are fantastic and accommodating.
