16From the minute I walked in the door, I was greeted by a very polite young man. I was pleasantly surprised that helped me from the minute I walked into the office until the end of my buying process. He first helped me by test driving my vehicle of choice and went above and beyond to make sure all my questions and concerns were answered. I called yesterday, 9/28 to make an appointment for an October inspection for my 2022 Santa Fe. Given a November 1st appointment I said that will not work and I will have to find another station. (all previous service has been done at Northtown!) The service rep.replied, " Ok". I will not return to Northtown Hyundai!
This was my second time doing business with Northtown Hyundai and my second time working with Gordon. He reached out to me regarding my lease end with plenty of time to find a deal on a vehicle I have been interested in for a while. I got a great deal on a beautiful 2023 Kona. Gordon took care of everything - he was respectful, kind and patient and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns.
Just purchased a 2023 Kona SE AWD, last one on the lot, and two days later they are selling the new 2024 model for basically the same price they made me pay. Feeling disheartened and taken advantage of. Why was I simply not informed that the 2024 inventory was literally arriving 48 hours later and being sold at a similar price? Hard lesson learned.
Do not trust their salesman there! Do not buy their preowened certificed vehicles! They lie to you to get you to buy the vehicle and when it comes to the service you realize they lied! This is ridiculous! Not purchasing any vehicles from northtown anymore!

Working with Sierra was great. She was no pressure and really new the Gv80 and how to use all the bells and whistles! I appreciated her relaxed easy personality.
It was ok here. Had an appt but the salesman didn't have the car ready. Waited for his to get the Tucson but gosh it was extremely hot in the car: (I also wanted to see a 2023 Kona but again no car. Without telling me he placed me in a used dirty 2020 Kona trying to tell me no difference between this and a 23/24. Won't go back. Why bother when he couldn't!
I was charging my EV at one of their charging stations, which are free and open to the public. They are almost always blocked by dealer non - electric gas vehicles. So, I pulled up behind the charger, and had just enough length on the charge cord to reach my vehicle. After about 20 minutes of charging, a Northtown employee (possibly a manager) came out and rudely told me "we have to charge customer cars. " But again, the parking spots in front of the chargers are blocked by gas vehicles. He talked to me as if I was doing something wrong by charging my vehicle there. My vehicle is not a Hyundai, and I didn't buy it there, but I have bought a vehicle there in the past. I guess that would make me a customer, but again, I was treated like I was doing something wrong. The vehicle that I did buy there in the past was a piece of trash, also. I had a stack of paperwork from Northtown of over 40 pages from all the times it was there and they couldn't figure out how to fix it. I still would have bought another car from them after that, but after the the attitude I got for charging my vehicle on a FREE charger that is open to the public, I won't ever be a customer there again.
We keep coming back to Northtown Hyundai year after year. We have been treated very fairly by the Sales Staff, especially Gordon McCombs in which we have been dealing with for 6 years plus. Also, I have been a consistent Northtown Dodge customer since 1985. Many dealership choices throughout New York.

You could tell the staff are a real team effort. Our good fortune was to be paired with Sierra Geiger, as she is very professional and extremely educated on the product she is selling. Any questions we had, she knew the answer immediately and gave us her all to help us decide what was best for us. We came to do some research (after we had been to several other places) and walked out buying an amazing Genesis SUV.

Car shopping…not my favorite thing but I have to say that Sierra Geiger made it an absolutely enjoyable and efficient process! ️Don’t let her youth fool you, she knew every detail about every feature of our electric vehicle. My husband is quite a car guy and has been buying cars for 45 years and she wow’d him too! She absolutely is a standout in service and I highly recommend asking for her and working with Northtown. Very disappointed with service department at Northtown Hyundai. Took my new car in for first oil change and they put in the wrong filter and oil leaked out all over driveway. Had to take to local repair shop to fix. Now I tried to schedule my second oil change and set up inspection… it is the beginning of the month and they don’t have a single opening for 6 weeks. Even though I get free oil changes with my new car I will have to go elsewhere. That is ridiculous that they can not do a simple oil change and inspection!
