Northwell Health - Peconic Bay Medical Group, Shirley NY

Went in for a covid test. In severe pain for two days but because their covid rapid tests are on backorder, I was told by them that I have to wait 48 hours. So here I am, in my bed, in severe agony with no meds to help. BTW, their suggestions of using Tylenol and cough medicine do not work. I have never and I mean NEVER felt this sick in my entire life. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO SHIRLEY NORTHWELL HEALTH EVERRR AGAIN!

I originally went here to been seen for a swollen foot and leg that I've had on and off for months. The receptionists and the nurses are all wonderful there. It's the 2 doctors I saw. First I saw Dr. Ramkissson, he said "you saved your life coming in" and said I had diabetes. He said i had to make a appointment for a regular check up and still left with no answers to my swollen foot and leg. Came back a week after I go get all of the blood work done and what not. Got the bloodwork back and only a prediabetic. (Barely) had the blood results a day later here I am a week later still no phone call to go over my blood work. Phone in a glucose meter but never told me what to do if it's high or low. Ridiculous that I have no clue what to do and wait a week and who knows how much longer for a phone call.

Dr Chadha is wonderful. I am unhappy with the Sunday staff. I went there Sunday at 1: 20 and asked to be seen as I wasnt feeling well. I was told to come back at 3: 15 because they have to go to lunch. The receptionist told me I can go to CityMD as they are opened. They are busy because Manorville is sending their patients to them. I'm extremely upset about this as I am a patient of Northwell and never had an issue getting an appt before. Even as a walk in.

Went first time yesterday. Very pleased with the facility. Great staff and friendly environment.

All staff were very helpful and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Duffy listened and asked about any concerns or issues I had and went above and beyond to help me with my needs. I’m very happy to become a new patient at this facility.

Brought my father here on Sunday. The staff could not have been nicer! I called first to find out what time they were open until and I spoke with Kaitlyn. So kind and even nicer in person. The medical assistant Joy was also super nice. The doctor was Dr. Kimberly Duffy. Spent time with us. No rush. Explained things thoroughly.

From the moment I entered the waiting room I immediately noticed the cleanliness of this facility. The front desk was very friendly and Joan was helpful in getting my CT prescription to me. My wait time to see the doctor was 5 minutes. Amanda took my vitals, my medical history and my lab work (which was painless) Amanda is very soft spoken, calming, and we’ll informed. Dr. Duffy was great, very approachable, and addressed all of my concerns. I felt very confident in her hands, so I have decided to change my primary care physician to Dr. Duffy.

Fabulous walk in experience. Front desk was very polite and personable. Amanda was just so kind. Did not wait long to be seen. PA Roland was awesome! He listened to my concerns and gave me insight how to deal with my sinus issues early before they get out of hand. The office is incredibly clean very modern up to date. Finally found a place with that hometown feel. I’m definitely going back for all my health care needs.
