I had a “save my spot” appointment at noon on Saturday March 20th for a PCR Covid test before a medical procedure. I was ten minutes early. I texted when I arrived and was told to come in where my temperature was taken. I was then told to wait in an examination room. As I walked to room three, I noticed the place was empty other than me and three or four employees. I waited for approximately fifteen minutes. I could hear the staff discussing where and what to order for lunch etc. This went on for about fifteen minutes. It was lunch time, they have to eat, I get it. After that discussion a friendly staff member came into my room and administered my Covid test. I was then told to wait and that a “provider” would come in to speak to me. I waited and waited in the room with the sliding door closed while they were STILL trying to coordinate lunch plans. After ten minutes I opened the door and came out and asked if I could leave. They were surprised I was there. THEY FORGOT ABOUT ME! No one came in to speak to me. I asked the person who who tested me if she asked me to wait, she said yes. Then another woman apologized and said I was supposed to go in and speak to you. SERIOUSLY? I’m the only patient in there on a Saturday and you FORGET about me or keep me waiting because your lunch order is more important than the only patient you have in the facility? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! What happens when they’re busy? Never again. AVOID!

Front desk receptionist was not professional and had a attitude. Once we were told with an attitude to go to the room we get there afterwards a women comes in. She starts talking and doesn’t introduce herself to me and assumes as the reason I am here. The doctor on that day was nice and so was his assistant but the other personal was very unpleasant. Don’t think I’ll go there again.

Thank you for taking such great care of my kids during such a difficult time. They were scared but your medical staff helped them feel calm with their soothing talking and delicate care.

Save your time, and go to City MD Instead.
I recently did a PCR test at northwell urgent care, five days ago. The nurse that was doing the nose swab for me was so rude, because I wasnt able to stay still to take the swab and kept flickering. She should have been patient but anyways I was okay with that, since my test on March 14 i tried reach out on March 17 and no one picks up, kept checking my patient portal and still nothing until I got redirected to help desk and an admin told me that he sees my most recent results but isn't authorized to tell me the results since a PA or a nurse from north-well urgent care bayside is the one who is supposed to tell me the result. He tried transferring me over AND THEY STILL DIDNT PICK UP!

I kept calling them the whole afternoon until someone finally picked up and as soon as i was discussing my concern, SHE LEFT ME ON HOLD FOR 8 minutes!

They don't care about their patient experience one bit and I can’t believe I am doing all this and going through this long loop to get my results. Save your time and energy and go somewhere else

Walked in to see how long a wait for COVID-19 Rapid Test would be and was seen within 20 minutes. Extremely friendly staff. Thank you for the quick turn-around.

The technician I saw was very rude. Did not introduce herself, no explanation of what was going to be done, gave short commanding instructions. The clinic was not busy at all, she was in such a rush, cutting me off even before I answered her.

Grateful for this clinic during COVID. One of the best urgent cares I've been to. Very clean facility and friendly staff who take precautions to ensure safety of patients. I have done both walk-in and appointment to see a doctor. If you know a few days ahead that you need a COVID test, I recommend keeping eye out for any available slots 2-3 days before on their website. Walk-in will require a wait in line outside but its worth it.

Been calling for 2 days to get my covid results.no one answers the phone.it wasn't explained how I would get them

They do Covid walk-in test everyday from 8-11 only
The line is long and you have to wait outside up to 2 hours.

All staff were friendly and professional. Very knowledgeable and efficient in what they do. Definitely will go back if any medical needs arrive, and strongly recommend Northwell Urgent Care

Dr shared information that was informative about both symptoms and treatment plan/medication. I felt heard, understood and that the Dr.took the time necessary to provide a targeted plan that would help me feel better quickly. The facility called to check on me three days later as promised and I am feeling better than I have in the past 3 weeks. I have been here multiple times and EVERY time I have had an amazing experience! I work in the area so I have had to run in during a break or lunch hour and they are always knowledgeable, accomadating and helpful. I have always had my questions answered. I do the online check in, run in and I'm in and out. The online patient portal is awesome too. I wish I could use them as my primary care Dr I would switch immediately!

This is by far the best walk in doctor I have ever been to. Dr shwartz identified my problem right away (back spasms). She was very informative on what I need to do and about my meds. I would definitely go back. Plus almost no wait time and only 1 page of forms to fill out. I was in and out In less then 40 min. Great place!
