Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care, Riverhead NY

So I did a walk-in visit hoping to see a doctor. I got there around 3: 30 pm and the gentleman at the desk said I would have to wait until about 7: 45 pm. There were about 4 patients ahead of me. I found that to be quite a long wait time but I chose to wait. However, after 2+ hrs I realized that I was the last of the original patients left but other ppl were coming in and being ushered to rooms to be seen so I inquired from the gentleman at the desk if I would be seen next only to be informed no…that I was # 8 in line. I asked how come and I then saw my name on a screen showing 7 other persons who had made appointments. So I said to him what’s the use of having walk-ins if persons can make appointments while you’re there at the office waiting to be seen and just come in and bypass you and get to see the doctor. This system sucks and makes no sense. I hope someone in charge rectifies this urgently. I ended up leaving the office unattended because I couldn’t wait anymore as I was not sure what time I would have been seen.

I liked that i could reserve a spot and was seen on time. PA was very thorough and explained things in detail.

My 19 yr old went in 11/25/23
Severe ear pain, bad nasal discharge, swollen lymph’s nodes, and fever. I called six times after she left the appointment to say she’s again she’s getting on a plane tomorrow morning to go back to college. No call back.
Dr. Sawyer said virus only. What a Disaster!
Now in hospital after arriving from airport!
Double ear infection and now on
Antibiotics and steroids
Very disappointed in no return phone calls!
Extremely unprofessional. Strange when my daughter is going to be a nurse practioner.
Wonder how much insurance was charged?

The whole team was fabulous I have been so impressed by the way they took care of us and treated us with respect and excellent care. I would recommend everyone to try them out. The doctor was very patient with us, and was very knowledgeable. The staff was kind as well.

I love Go Health Urgent Care in Riverhead. I am able to make my appointments on line. The staff is very friendly. They got me in and out. Dr Julian Salome-Correa is very thorough.

The nurses and doctors were amazing and very thoughtful knowing that my time is just as valuable as theirs! Would definitely go back!

Been in so much pain for 3 days got an X-ray 3 days ago of my ribs and chest and still no results. Ridiculous. Don’t bother calling they won’t answer.

I got in right away, with no wait time. Easily completed check in on my phone, but one of the front desk staff actually told me they could do it for me instead (which was great). I got into a room as soon as this was done and was taken care of by a great nurse. Shortly after the provider came and spoke to me (she was VERY kind, and knowledgeable). I was in and out in less than a half an hour! She even wrote me a note and signed it. Really fantastic work flow they have, you can tell they love their jobs and work great as a team. I highly recommend this facility for your urgent care needs.

Everything went great until they never sent the prescription to the Pharmacy, (confirmed with staff three times). The issue could not be resolved because, they do not pick up the phone or call back after leaving two messages. Pretty sure they were not busy, as we were the only ones there. Still no script two hours later and have to wait another day to treat an infection, because now they are closed. Let's see if I get a call in the morning. Unacceptable.

Pros: ease of scheduling an appointment; minimal wait time to be seen; staff professional, kind & understanding; facility spotless; ample parking. Con: wish you were located in Southold!

Always a horrible experience across the board from the desk staff to the PA (Rosie). Never go here!

Friendly staff and dr Correa was very knowledgeable. They answered my follow questions about prescriptions a day later without any hesitation.

My wife went specifically for an X-ray and made that very clear.
When she arrived the tech was THERE, after waiting she was told the tech had to step out. Another almost 30 minute wait. Terrible service!

Not very helpful at all! Called twice, left message for call back, got nothing for several hours! Went there on my lunch break, to get info or an appt, appt wait was too long, no info from the desk! Tried doing a text conversation twice, to no avail, then Called again and hit a different extension, someone answered but said they could not give me info over the phone! Good thing I’m not dying!
