Nova Asian Bistro reviews
20 First time back in about a year and not much has changed. Interior still as I remembered and the food is above average. What I do like about this all you can eat sushi is the fact they serve sashimi; not everyone wants to load up on rice.
Service is spot on and very friendly.
Wow! This place is gonna stay busy and be around for a while if they continue to follow the path they're on. 1. Reasonable prices 2. Great menu 3. Well prepared food 4. Delicious food 5. Large portions 6. Great service and 7. Great ambiance. The place was packed and apparently they take reservations too. They serve all types of Asian food. From Japanese to Chinese to Thai. They have a sake menu and serve unfiltered Sake as well. Go there if you are 8n the mood for Asian food. You won't be disappointed. I wasn't!
I love this place. It is my go-to for sushi. I get veggie options as I don’t eat much fish or meat. I recommend peanut avocado roll, vegetable gyoza, scallion pancakes (dipping sauce is bomb dot com) and thai iced tea. I’ve never been disappointed.delivery is efficient—quick and orders are always accurate.love you, novaaaaa
Absolutely worth every penny. Quality is great. If you don’t like something just let them know. Where can you get a solid 100% alcohol drink for $10!
Nova is an "Okay" place to go eat Sushi. The food is good. Never had any issues with their food. The atmosphere inside is nice. Nothing to brag about, but manageable. Now their service is a 50/50. It can get very busy inside and the waiters/waitresses can be occupied a lot of times. They sometimes forget your food and you need to call them to remind them. They will also keep walking past you when flagging them down. To me, that's the only downside. Otherwise it's all good!
This place has some of the worse customer service on the Planet. This used to be my favorite place. I work nearby and September 1st was my BDAY, so I decided to treat myself to my former favorite place. The service was horrific, my waitress completely disappeared to where I was aimlessly looking for her until finally disturbing another waitress to take more orders. They say the place is ALL you can eat, but they monitor and slow down the service noticeably, to make it unpleasant enough for you to want to leave. I went at a time where it was not busy, so I do not understand why I got such a bad experience. This was my 2nd try where another time, I also was not too happy with the service. I will be on the lookout for a new sushi place. This place does not cut it anymore.
A great small restaurant off the main road quick staff you can ask any of them to help take your food or drink orders. The appetizers and nice but for me the sushi dishes are my main focus thier absolutely delicious. "The signature", the Ak-47 and the earthquake rolls are my favorites along with a zombie cocktail.
The worst staff.
Good food but the waiters are so rude it makes the food not even worth the experience. They also stare at you…weirdos.
Staff members were kind and helpful. The atmosphere was good. Depending on the time and day you go, you’re seated rather quickly. I had the all-you-can-eat service. Honestly would only recommend the salmon sashimi and moneybags (crab rangoons). There were other pieces of sashimi that were tough In texture. The beef ribs were difficult to chew despite its well seasoning. The waitress admitted to noticing its hard exterior and discarded the item. The Tom yum soup and shrimp tempura speciality roll were alright. I wouldn’t recommend the wings or fried items.
Please note you are expected to finish ALL, if not MAJORITY, of your selections or they will charge regular price per item. I wasn’t pleased to hear that. The manager was kind to excuse this for me as I did not enjoy most items.
Food here is pretty good for all you can eat. Not top quality sushi, bit definitely very good and reasonably priced.
Excellent sushi restaurant with an all-you-can eat option. Normally all-you-can-eat menus mean lower quality food, fattier meats, small portions etc, but Nova is the exception - high quality all the time. Peter, Anna and the staff are great. Yes, it gets very crowded on weekends and yes, they want to move the people in/out (menu does say 2 hour limit for all you can eat dining), but don’t let that keep you away. The staff is on top of your table for a reason - No dirty plates, no sitting food, everything is well looked after during your meal. We go as a couple, with my kids for birthdays, and truly enjoy every meal. Plus they have a full bar!
Best sushi in the area, hands down. I recommend this place to my friends and they all agree.
Definitely one of the better all you can eat places. Fast service, great waitresses and a fair price for the quality your getting. Parking is pretty bad but I won't hold it against this place.
The best sushi I've ever had, very tasty. The place is very clean and very nice staff. 10/10
A Japanese restaurant opened by a Chinese who discriminates against Chinese. The food is very stale, greasy + heavy taste + super salty. Unpalatable + unpalatable, the manager also asked to pay an extra fee to pack and take away the "dishes that were too unpalatable" and said that we "can't use bad taste as an excuse" "We have a lot of orders here for foreigners. It’s impossible not to be delicious. ” Apparently, your restaurant’s cooking is in line with the tastes of foreigners, but not in line with Chinese tastes. It’s normal for me to waste some. In her eyes, I was wasting on purpose. They are both Chinese, can't they understand that we are not used to their American Chinese food? Can't I keep my own gourmet taste in America?
The food is what has me coming back. I have either had incredibly slow service or service that has felt very rushed. I've never had an experience I've liked service wise but the food very good and it's decently priced as well. I do hope their service will get better but I will hold off on coming back for a bit in hopes of better service in a few months.
I don’t usually write reviews but absolutely horrible customer service. Got the wrong order twice, and wasn’t checked on a single time throughout our meal. Ordered a green tea and that took over 20 minutes to come. Didn’t even get some of the things we’ve ordered. That wasn’t even the worst part. Although service was poor we still tipped. But instead of being grateful the server up front demanded for more tip. This establishment needs to retrain their staff. Food was mediocre at best. Will not the returning solely because of the service.
This used to be one of my favorite spots. Unfortunately the prices have gotten ridiculous.
The host was so bad constantly staring at you when you eat making it a bad experience.she needs to be fired this happens every time I go there
The food was average tasting and the food containers were layered with non-essential items, small portions of food ordered
