Nucci's, Staten Island NY

If you never been to Nucci's, I am recommending doing it. Food is amazing! You are welcome!

ABSOLUTELY love going to Nucci's especially for the fact that they treat you like family when you're there. EXCELLENT service, EXCELLENT food and EXCELLENT service ALWAYS. I have been going here for years and everything has only gotten better as the time goes on. LOVE YOU GUYS SOOOOOOOO MUCH!

My water had black flecks floating in it, so I asked for another one and there were still flecks in my second glass. Food was nothing special, and it wasn't until it was time to pay that we were told they weren't accepting cards.

Food was so good, unfortunately service was extremely slow. 3 1/2 later we finally left… we had to bag the dessert to go, otherwise we’d still be there.

Ate there tonight with friends
Enjoyed baked clams, fried calamare, Grilled Veal with Angel Hair pasta, a glass of wine
Very satisfied with meal and service.

Food came 1 hour late. No Sterno's, no bread, no salad dressing. The poor delivery man had to go back and get, bread, salad & salad dressing. Now almost 2 hours late. Food was good, service and accountability stunk. Heard these stories before about this place. Well now I know, eat in ok, take out ok. Planning a catered event horrible, find some other restaurant.

The appetizer was good. Eggplant. But the bread was old, and a little stale, and hard. When I asked the waiter for fresh bread he bought the same thing, With little pieces of butter on a plate. Veggie pasta was ok but didn't asked if I wanted Red or White just assumed. I'll go back give them another try. The food mostly is really good.

JUST A BAD DAY!
I was at Nucci's restaurant Sunday, July 24th.
My reservations were at 6: 15pm.
For a party of 14.
Our server's name was Paul.
He did his best!
We were seated.
Looked at menu's and ordered.
I just wanted to inform you that the service was not up to your usual standards.
They mixed up 2 orders.
Someone ordered something on the menu.
After he ordered it.
The waiter came back and said they had no more.
I ordered Chicken Franchase and Chicken Marsala came out with no mushrooms. The dish looked terrible!
I sent it back.
It's very difficult to speak to someone who doesn't understand English.
They made a fresh Chicken Franchase.
I didn't want it.
But they said to take it anyway.
When I got home they just threw the chicken in the tin.
The owner came over and apologized.
He said they were having a party and everything was crazy.
The weather was 102°
He compensated my dinner from the bill and said he would give us a Family discount which was deleting all the coffee's and drinks!
Our bill wasn't cheap!
We had a pitcher of white Sangria.
There was still about a cup and a half left in the Sangria and they took it off the table.
I said something to the waiter and he brought another pitcher out.
They took my Ceaser salad.
We were eating the bread on the table and they took that too!
They didn't bring out new utensils so while waiting for utensils your food was getting cold.
The dinners were coming out sporadically.
The restaurant was warm.
Two people from our table asked 2x's for them to lower the AC.
The computers went down and he had to make a written receipt.
I love your restaurant and everyone has a bad day!
I understand that!
But I had people from out of town visiting.
I am very disappointed and I hope it improves because I really enjoy your restaurant!
Everyone has a bad day once in a while!
I still will come back and give it another shot.

Well run establishment, earnest service, really incredible food. Like top notch deliciousness. Chicken parm, baked clams, calamari, chicken marsala, caprese salad, flank steak teriyaki, shrimp oreganata from the catering menu were all fabulous. The pasta course was cooked to perfection. That's a sure sign they know what they are doing. Would go there again in a heartbeat.

Love coming here. The owner is one of the nicest guys out there. The wait staff was extremely attentive and the food.on point to what it was that we ordered. Will always reccomend this place.

Not going back again. I have been a long time customer and this is the third time within the past 8 or 9 months I have been here. I know staff is hard to find, but next door at aunt butchies is still great. I ordered the calamari with the house sauce. After they delivered it to my table, they informed me they don't have any house sauce. I know it seems petty, but if they told me this in the beginning, I would have just ordered something else. They seemed very annoyed I refused it, then gave me a hard time taking it off the bill.

Additionally, on my way out waiting for my wife, I overheard three vendors talking to each other outside. Apparently the owner here doesn't pay his suppliers on time. One guy was complaining he hasn't gotten paid for months and another that he was constantly short paid. Not a good way to run a business and I won't patronize a business that doesn't do the right thing.

Staffs are good and salad is salt, tomato sauce and meatballs are sodium, potato croquet is bitter.

When I lived on Staten Island this was our favorite place to eat. We were back in town last night and had a group of 14 eat dinner. The food was good but the service was sub par and many things they were out of like the nuccis oyster sauce for the calamariwhich you have to know to ask for. We drove from NC just for that. Not sure were going back when back in NJ next time. Was not worth the 16.00 toll which is sad as it was such a staple in Italian food and makes me sad to see this.

If I could give 10 stars I would. My family held my grandma’s repast here. Paul was kind and responsive. The food was absolutely delicious. Chicken Marsala and vodka pasta were incredible. Thank you, Nucci’s!

The service second to No other restaurants. The bar tender went out of his way to provide service to me. Each and every staff member work together - cohesively and are united in providing a warm & welcoming dinning experience! Kudos to all!

I have to say this What happened? I used to come here service was great.full bar selection I was recently at a party and I have to say not enough help! No patron! I had many parties here and they never disappointed! Today I have to say has been a big disappointment!
