NY Chiropractic & Physical Therapy

I was recently in PT here and my experience was as pleasurable as it was several year prior. The welcoming family feel from the staff (especially chris who always made PT less tedious) but also maintained a professional manner! I recovery process was made easy with the knowledge and care I was given! Highly recommend! I will continue to go here for any PT needs!

I saw Dr. Scarano yesterday with neck pain so severe i was getting migrane headaches and nausea. After her adjustment almost instantly I was feeling better and I am happy to say I don't need advil to get though my day. Throughly the best!

Great facility and atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and informative. Dr. Garcia took his time explaining my injury and the protocol to get me better. Would highly recommend this clinic.

Let me preface this review by saying 3 weeks ago, I was in the most pain I have ever been in my life. The stiffness in my upper body was so immense, I couldn't move and was paralyzed and I felt little hope at that moment. I'm so glad I found NYCPT and Dr Palumbo. I've never seen a chiropractor before and didn't know what to expect. My nervousness was eased from the very moment I contacted them. The calm gentle voice over the phone was gracious enough to give me a same day appt and after 2 visits, I already started to feel better. After the 3rd visit, I KNEW i was on the right track. Alas, 2 weeks later, I felt like my old self again. Not once did going to my appts felt like a chore to me. It felt like such a necessity and FINALLY I'm taking the time to take care of me. Thank you Dr Palumbo for your care. I wholeheartedly thank you for making me feel whole again.

I have been to this facility numerous times after surgeries and I highly recommend it. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with friendly receptionists. My therapist is Rick and he is very knowledgeable and takes the time with his patients to make sure they are getting the best possible care. I have worked with him twice now. He is knowledgeable about different treatments and is not afraid to challenge patients in the gym when he feels it will improve their care. Every program is specifically designed for each patient. The aids are very involved and assist with exercises. I highly recommend this facility and I would not go anywhere else. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed while pushing you to get better. If you want the best care I would highly recommend this place

Facility: Very clean. ALL of the staff is kind.

Front Desk: ALL of the medical receptionists are pleasant and helpful.

Chiropractor & assistants: I personally see Dr Scarano. She is funny, blunt, very nice, and most importantly Dr Scarano listens to patient concerns. The assistants are also very polite.

Physical Therapist & assistants: Rick is who you want to see for any issues! He takes patient injuries seriously, while also keeping the sessions upbeat. Rick is knowledgeable and explained my course of treatment so we stayed on the same page. The assistants (hope I don’t forget anyone!) Chris, Tom, and Nick are very respectful and help explain the exercises so I felt safe during my routines.

Overall Impression: Friendly facility. They’re all very busy, but you will NEVER feel rushed. My only regret is that I didn’t find this facility sooner!

I highly recommend this place for any sort of injuries or pain.it's my to go to place whenever I feel any discomfort or pain that would slow my life down. I see Dr. Gabriel there and he is awesome, the front desk is very accommodating and the assistants know their stuff.

This is the best Physical Therapy office I have ever gone to. The staff is very knowledgeable, caring and attentive. This is my second time using this facility with outstanding results. The ladies in the reception area are also professional, kind and helpful at all times. I would highly recommend this place.

This is the place to go if you have an issue with your back and or spine. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this location even if you live outside Staten Island.

I was referred here after getting into a car accident to receive treatment on my neck and back. This place is amazing, the whole entire staff is super courteous, professional and they most definitely care for their patients. Dr. Palumbo and Dr. Scarano are both out of this world. I was recommended to go to NYCPT after my shoulder surgery by my surgeon, I was depressed and in a lot of pain. Rick is a phenomenal physical therapist. He has a up beat personality and a great demeanor. He is very knowledgeable and professional and is very good at explaining all that is occurring during your physical therapy. I received excellent care as well as learning how to avoid future injuries. I really enjoyed my time here. I highly recommend Rick and all stuff.

So I recently hurt myself playing baseball for Wagner College. I was lost I didn’t know what to do or where to go. I had gotten a recommendation to go check out the Sports Science Lab and NYCPT. I was introduced to a therapist named Rick. He gave me an amazing evaluation and with only 3 weeks of PT I’m back throwing and doing what I love. Rick is an amazing guy and to him this isn’t a job it’s a lifestyle, he takes his time and he really gets to know his patients and really builds a relationship with them. His main priority is your health and he won’t give up until he reaches that. If you are lucky enough to get Rick don’t take it for granted he will get you back up on ur feet in no time.

This place is great, the whole entire staff is very pleasant and professional. Very minimal wait time to be seen. You’ll will receive quality care coming here.

I was able to return to work within just two weeks.

PT at this practice is wonderful.personal attention and they know their patients and take the time to work them thru stages of recovery. From the check in desk to the aides to the DPTs each staff member is to be recognized for their professionalism. I was there post ankle tendon surgery and so happy with the results!
