Just got my motorized shades and drapey installed by NY City Blinds- Upper East Side. I am so very pleased with the work, professionalism, kind attitude and superb customer service. Mauricio was my design consultant, he listened to my needs, suggested some interesting ideas and the final result is absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend this company enough.

I received my motorized shades and drapery installed by NY City Blinds on the Upper East Side. I am beyond ecstatic with the workmanship, professionalism, attention to detail, kind attitude and the superb customer service. Mauricio was my design consultant and I can't say enough wonderful things about him. He listened intently to my needs, came up with some interesting ideas based on my needs and the final result was absolutely stunning! This company is amazing! They go above and beyond to please the customer and I can't recommend them enough! If you need this kind of work in your place, NY City Blinds on the Upper East Side is the go to for it!

I would like to recommend this company. I had my blinds installed a few months ago. Overall, the process was very easy and the team was extremely efficient. This company is trustworthy, and I highly recommend them to anyone who’s looking for window coverings.

We used them 2 times - 1st time: the product was very late and installation was subpar however we gave the company the benefit of the doubt - 2nd time: product late, wrong measurements, horrible customer service from the management team -

after spending over $14,000 we will have to order new products from a different vendor - truly one of the worst companies Ive dealt with and total SCUMBAGS

We recently had what I would call a relatively complicated installation completed through NY City Blinds. We had 10 shades installed; 9 of the 10 were installed side by side and around two corners. The experience working with our design consultant Tommy and the results were excellent. The outcome was exactly what we expected and wanted. Based on past experience, we always expect a few hiccups the larger and more complicated the job. That’s where customer service comes in. In one case a shade may have been cut by a fraction of an inch too long to fit seamlessly into the row of 9 side by side shades. Tommy responded immediately without resistance and resolved the issue quickly to our complete satisfaction. Subsequently, we recommend NY City Blinds and Tommy both for the quality of their product and their customer service. In summary, our experience has been, the product is high quality and that for NY City Blinds customer satisfaction is paramount

I had posted a 1 star review as my initial experience with one of the sales representatives was sub par- I am fully retracting this 1 star review- Mr. Guy Haber- the CEO of the company is innovative and is a pleasure to work with. The company is true to their words and aim for customer satisfaction. New better fitting blinds are being installed in an expedited fashion. We have 2 more windows to be fitted for solar/light blocking blinds and I will definitely move forward with NY city blinds with utmost confidence.

Pros: products seemed to be of acceptable manufacturing quality in terms of construction and fabric though they do not fit the windows and do not otherwise serve the intended purpose

Cons: does not work as advertised; very bad value; company does not honor its warrantees; zero customer service

We bought automatic black-out blinds when we remodeled a West Village condo. We did not occupy the condo for some time while the remodeling was being done, and when we finally did we were unpleasantly surprised to find that the blinds did not fit the windows. With the blinds down, they left a substantial gap of about 5” that was left uncovered on either side of the blinds. With so much of the windows left uncovered by the “dark-out blinds” so much light comes in that they are useless for the purpose.we now have to use towels to cover the windows, after paying thousands of dollars for the new blinds!

It is obvious that NY City Blinds made a serious mistake when they measured the windows as part of their custom job, and combined this with a terrible installation. To our surprise they have consistently refused to do anything, not even coming back to look at their installation. We have good automatic black-out blinds — i.e. Blinds that fit and are properly installed and that block out the light — in other units in Manhattan and in our other homes elsewhere, and this is the only time we have had such a problem.

When we contacted NY City Blinds to address the issue, they just claimed everything they did was adequate and refused to even come out and look at the job or do offer any kind of fix. No reliable company would take thousands of dollars to slap inadequate products on with a low quality installation, but apparently this fits the standards of NY City Blinds. We are now faced with a choice between finding someone else to fix the problem and forgetting about the thousands we wasted with NY City Blinds, or filing a small claims suit to recover from this company that did such a poor job and refuses to stand behind its warrantee.

We suggested looking elsewhere when ordering blinds. We certainly will.

NY City Blinds East side location has excellent repair services. They accommodated my needs quickly and with care. I look forward to purchasing window treatments from them in the future.

Very unreliable! Ordered drapes in July 2021. Still waiting as they were done too short. I cannot get a definite date of installation.

Jack and John were great! Fast, efficient and very prefssional. They did a great job installing the shades and they look great. Sunny also did a terrific job helping us with the design and different options.

Tommy helped us choose very elegant fabric; the curtains are beautiful. We live in a building that's more than 100 years old, so the installation was more fraught than I would've liked. But the end result, after the installers worked very hard to anchor the rods and plaster over holes that developed, is just lovely. We are very pleased and will use NYC Blinds again.

Originally had an issue with my blinds making a very loud noise but the team was very prompt in coming out to fix the issue once identified. Blinds now work perfectly!

Renovating my apartment during COVID isn’t easy but nyc blinds made it so, the guys were professional and had impeccable manners, from the measurement guy to the installers really treated me amazing and the work they did was clean and fast. I’ve got two more windows and can’t wait to have them work on them again.thanks guys!

We met with Melvin last week to go over installing window shades for our new home. Melvin is absolutely pleasant to work with and is very patient and professional with measurement, choice of fabric, etc. He was quick, competitively priced. I would definitely recommend him if your in the market for blinds!
