I booked a wheel chair accessible van. The van was old no sign.the driver could not park in front of building.he carried the patient on wheelchair a few blocks.the van was old, no A/C and driver did not know how to pass the bump not to bother the patient with multiple broken ribs.he was very lazy and rude.on the return, he wanted to park across the street and carry the patient on wheelchair crossing a busy street.when i complained, he was not happy about it.he parked again in front of building and did not carry the patient inside eventhough we had paid $100 fee for carrying patient inside.he was worried about getting cited if he parks double.you think that they should get a sign for their van to carry patients on wheelchair. They also charged me 25% tip ahead of book aside from $100 fee for carrying patient inside (which the dirver did not do) do not recomend them.

Horrible service - they sent the wrong car, said they would refund but didn’t. DO NOT USE them!

I was planning a trip to NYC with my 2 kids and my wife who is disabled. On the website I selected the Accessible Large Van option, which showed a picture of a large van with a lift, and said it would accommodate 6 people with 6 pieces of luggage. We were only 4, so I figured it would be a piece of cake. I requested a quote.

I got an email with the quote and about 10 minutes later some lady (Dorine) then called me and asked if I wanted to book. She said since there were 4 of us, she would have to send 2 vans. I said nevermind, because I had no interest in splitting up my family for the ride. She called me back shortly after and said she was able to get a bigger van and I said okay.

I booked round trip from JFK to my hotel, and round trip form my hotel to Battery Park ferry terminal. The total for this was $860.

When we arrived at JFK, we found a minivan waiting for us. If I wanted a minivan, I could have taken an accessible taxi for $70. There were no booster seats as promised, and not enough room for my family and luggage. I told the driver that they sent the wrong van, and he called his boss. His boss said this was what I ordered. I said no, I ordered the large van with 6 passengers, and he told me they did not have a 6 passenger van. He offered to send an additional van, which I refused, at which point he cussed me out. It became pretty clear at this point that NY NJ Taxi & Limo was not a company that had their own cars, but was farming out to other companies. So I sent the driver on his was, and the American Airlines rep who was helping us with another issue, offered to find us a ride. He got us on a big bus that took us to our hotel.

In the meantime Dorine called me to ask me what happened, and I explained what happened. She accused me of not explaining what I wanted clearly. She offered to refund my money for that trip. Against my better judgment I let her talk me into continuing our deal and going with the additional rides that I had booked. She promised me that she would be able to get me a larger Audi van that would be able to accommodate us. She also confided in me that she probably wouldn't be able to get 2 booster seats, would 1 car seat for the youngest child be okay? I realized at this point that she knew all along that we wouldn't get exactly what we asked for and should have just said forget it. But being the pushover I am, I said okay anyway.

So the time came for my trip to Battery Park. About 20 minutes after the pickup time had come and gone, somebody called me and told me that driver had been there for 45 minutes already, and where was I? It turns out the driver was on 44th street, even though my reservation clearly said 45th street.

When the driver came to the right place, we saw a nice looking Audi van. It was another minivan. With no ramp or lift. Because we had no luggage this time, only a stroller, we were able to make it work. The driver and I had to physically lift the 200 pound scooter into the back of the van, and then cram the stroller in behind it. My wife sat up front, and me and my 2 kids sat in the back seat. This time we did have 1 car seat. There would not have been room for even 1 suitcase, let alone the 5th passenger that I had on my reservation, who luckily did not go anyway.

At this point I decided to cut ties. On the ride back to the hotel we just flagged an accessible taxi, which worked out better than the Audi, albeit without a car seat.

I looked around for other options to get back to the airport, and finally settled on SuperShuttle, which offered a private shuttle service, for $135, including tip, which is less than half of what NY NJ Taxi & Limo was going to charge me for their minivan. This worked out perfectly. The guy showed up right on time in a large Ford T350 van, which had a lift and plenty of room for our luggage and my family to spread out.

I'll be waiting to receive at least $600 in refunds for the airport non-rides, though I haven't heard back from Dorine about that. If not I'll be charging it back.

Nice choice of cars they have if you have someone to impress. We used this service for two years traveling to Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark airport. When traveling with my wife we get a nice car and if the entire family then the Mercedes Sprinter. Great Service!

Great staff we use the service for deliveries and airport transfers on a daily basis. Both Manhattan and Brooklyn locations we have are satisfied with the drivers and office. We realized that it's time to give a good rating, when we needed a wheelchair accessible taxi for one of the company owners and guess what? They have them.

I booked a van to go from jfk to Manhattan on my arrival with my wife and an 16month old baby. I was expecting someone to be waiting with a sign at arrival but nobody was there for almost an hour! When I called help desk, I was first told that the driver was in the terminal, then I was told he was 5 minutes away, then I was told he went to the wrong terminal, several calls and 1 hour of waiting later, I gave up hope took a yellow cab. I wonder how this company is still around.

Love the service again. All our trips were completed on time and wonderful drivers. We had transfers from Newark Airport and JFK Airport with great timing. The option for accessible transportation is amazing with small accessible taxi and the large accessible vans for the airport trips. Best regards. E. B.

Guy hung up on me and when I called back it went to a voicemail. I left a message with all of my information and never got a call back. It was in the middle of the day on a Wednesday.
