NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull

This is the worst emergency room I have ever went to. Stood there over 5 hours and never saw a doctor. How can this hospital still operate? Wish I could have given it 0 stars. Stay away if you can, go somewhere else.

I went to the Emergency Service of Woodhull Hospital. They transferred me to EZ Care. A doctor didn't even take care of me. I left the hospital, and I went to a different hospital, then after one year, they sent me 900 dollars hospital bill. I will never go back to the hospital

Worst hospital I’ve ever been too, I was there for 4 hours with massive abdominal pain. No nurse no one came by to see if I was okay. In the end I got up and spoke to one of the doctors there and she had absolute no sympathy for the patients there including myself. I’m on my way to another hospital now, if I would’ve stayed there longer they would’ve left me to die. Either they shut down or get a better system and better staff. PLEASE no one waste your time by going there.

I really do not recommend coming here AT ALL! I've lost several family members at this hospital due to the horrible treatment they give, the place is extremely disgusting, and it takes forever to be seen. This hospital is big for no reason and I feel it should be closed down or at least hire better people and clean it up.

The most horrible hospital I’ve ever been to. Now I remember why I’ve never gone back after I was born. 5 hour wait for EZ care treatment. Honestly people got to organize and pressure this hospital to do better. They’re quick to charge you but take forever to help you.

Terrible service, people being extremely rude and not being polite. A waste of time honestly, please find a actual good medical center that isn’t this god awful hell hole

This place is filthy. Buckets of needles in the elevator. The bathrooms on several of the floors are worse than Port Authority. Good luck with your life here. Glad I only had to come and sign paperwork and even after that I washed everything.

When I broke my arm the financial department really helped me handle the bills, and paperwork. I wish I could remember the womans name because I owe her one. The staff seems overworked, I'm sure it's a hard job. Start with a smile and try being nice. Have some empathy for their situation and they may just return the favor.

Woodhull hospital I take care there my doctor work there and is good all hospital has good and bad thing

My daughter gave birth on Friday May 4th. She was admitted on May 2nd. Everyone was extremely kind, polite and helpful. If she has another, we will definitely be back.

Came here for a tooth extraction; 3 days of excruciating pain; The Dr leaves at 11 AM but the front desk lady took the initiative/time to ask since I called prior after the disappointment at wyckoff hospital not informing me there was no oral surgeons after I informed them I needed an extraction b4 being seen. I am so grateful right now! If your having tooth pain come here; call ahead and make sure they have a oral surgeon if you choose a different hospital.

The hospital has to my h more cleaner, organized, and my h more humbleness from the staff given severcies to patients care.

Was in the ER for several hours. It did not look or feel clean. The people working there all seemed busy behind their computers and only a few were attending to so many people laying around in beds in open cubicles or in the hall. An overabundance of police hanging around/surrounding some of the patients. If you have to go to this ER, go with an advocate or better yet, go to another ER.

This hospital is the worst hospital in Brooklyn the staff are clueless and the Drs are worst than con artists they run insurance up with there superfluous tests and it's ridiculous I've been sitting here three hrs in a clinic just to see if the Dr will even see me

There was this one guy that was great. Also I have Jax now. Two coffees deep. Tommy lee Jones in on the TV. Five stars.

Nice doctors but i came in an ambulance and only got some pain meds 3 hours later! I got here at 130 and its 1130 they just now did the exam, one nurse has attitude but most are nice, but this type of slow service kill ppl

Don't waste your time. Staff rude, I can connect to no one on the phone, nor speak to the right person regarding my mothers health care

Well i personally never saw one hospital like that in new york city i when with my litle sister i even cant walk and the just have me waiting for 2 hour in emergency waiting room so when i past to the office she just talk me u dont have nothing u are ok i just tought her thanks and i just going down to the floor i wake up in the bed the wrose hospital the should something about

A hospital tent in an overcrowded refugee camp rates an A next to dismal Woodhull. You go to Woodhull to die; not to get better.

Was there for 13 hours with out speaking to not one person. Asking for water or a blanket goes on deaf ears, staff will curse and drink coffee and look at the computer screen all day and laugh at the sick patients.
