Our Daughters wedding was fabulous! John and his staff made this day extra special because of their attention to all of the festivities and details of the day. As a business owner for 50 years I can appreciate how important details are. Thank you John for making Marni and Katie’s wedding a day to cherish️

One of the most stunning places to have an event. The food was, hands down, one of the best places I ever ate at a wedding. The maître d' John and his team were highly professional and had the highest work ethic, paying attention to every guest as if it was their party. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a party different from your average catering hall.

Be careful where your vehicle is parked at the de Seversky Mansion. While parked in the parking lot by the valet an unknown thief stole the fuel door off my vehicle. In my opinion the surrounding area is not well lit and these type of larcenies will probably continue.

It was an amazing experience being at the NYIT de Seversky Mansion. My brother and his newly wife got married there. John and his team help a whole lot for this wedding to be a never forgot day for Derek and Lucy.

I am writing to say how great your facility and especially the main manager who ran the whole wedding. He should definitely be complimented as doing a great great job. He deserves a higher position if there ever is anything that comes available. He's that good. Thanks again

If you are looking for a place to have a special occasion that offers elegance, class & beautiful scenery then you just found it. I recently attended a wedding at the de Seversky Mansion and had a blast! Its not just your average run of the mill wedding hall! This place has style! I hope i get invited to another venue their soon otherwise im gonna become a wedding crasher!

This is a place with lovely grounds. And that can be very tempting. But the staff does not know how to execute. They are young and largely inexperienced in my view. I don't know many of the other wedding venues in the area but you might consider looking at them instead. Food wasn't very good either.

My daughters bridal shower at the de Seversky Mansion was beyond anything she ever imagined her bridal shower would be.it was a true fairytale. The incredible staff made my daughter's day exceptional and unforgettable! Dana was amazing from the very beginning, and she helped us to plan every detail. She was always available and answered any questions we had.

Everything was amazing and all our family and friends were beyond impressed and loved everything about that day! The service, food and presentation were impeccable and the attention to detail was unmatched. The ground and venue are gorgeous.

Our maître d John was professional, attentive, accommodating, and personable from the moment my husband and I met him the day before to drop off everything. I did not have to worry about a single thing with John! I was running late the morning of, and John came to the rescue! He calmed me down, reassured me all was ok and made sure everything ran smoothly. He along with the entire staff were committed and made sure everything was perfect for my daughter and all our guests. The service exceeded beyond all my expectations!

A hidden gem for weddings on Long Island! This unique venue offers multiple rooms to have your wedding in. The outdoor ceremony area is perfect for picturesque photos. Food is top notch.

This place is fantastic. The house is a spectacular piece of history and kept in great shape. The staff if very good and friendly. It is a little hard to find for guests due to the college closing down roads for what seems no reason. Larger signage would help alot for directions.

When searching for a wedding venue I truly had no idea what I wanted but I knew I wanted to have our wedding somewhere that was different, had unique charm and would give our guests a non traditional experience. After much research, I stumbled upon de Seversky and immediately fell in love with all the pictures online. Flash back 2 years ago, I went to one of the venues showcases and we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. It’s absolutely stunning and if you like different and a venue with great history then this is the place for you. We booked the European option and this allowed for us to use the whole mansion and go from room to room. We had cocktail hour in 2 rooms, then moved into the dining room and garden room for dinner and then ended up in the ballroom with dancing. Our guests have shared so many amazing things about their experience and how fun it was so go from room to room. Dana and Natalia were our event managers and they were AMAZING! They listened and helped with every single request we had (even putting out our hundreds of candles that we had!) and were just so accommodating and great. Oscar was our maître d’ and he was also so so great! He was so attentive and had our wedding flow perfectly, from start to finish. The food was 10/10–our guests could literally not stop talking about how great everything was from cocktail hour to dinner to dessert. This place holds such a special place in my heart and I feel so lucky we got to have our wedding celebration here!

It's pretty cool inside. It's spacious; I mean it is a mansion. But if you're getting married here, I think it'll have everything you're looking for.

De Seversky Mansion is a beautiful venue, there is no question about that. But it was the team at de Seversky Mansion that really made our wedding day everything we could ever dream of! Everything from the start of wedding planning (>1.5 years for us) to the wedding day went seamlessly! We did not hire a wedding planner so all the communication was between us and their team (mainly Dana). Dana is so responsive to our emails (usually within a few hours) and explained the details of the wedding day so we didn't have to worry much. There were no silly questions with Dana; she was very happy to help us.
We chose the European style wedding because we thought it was really unique to utilize all the beautiful rooms in the mansion. The mansion is so dreamy! We had our ceremony outside by the Linden tree and it was truly magical! On the day of the wedding, the Maitre D' (Oscar) and bridal attendant (Andrea) really made the event run seamlessly. They kept track of time, made sure we were well fed during the long hours before and after the ceremony, and made minor adjustments to the timeline of events so that the wedding was enjoyable for everyone. They were always mindful of time and never rushed us even if we were running a few minutes late. The bridal attendant went above and beyond to make sure my dress looked amazing for photos and the ceremony. The staff brought us cocktail hour snacks after the ceremony because they knew we wanted a few minutes to ourselves and they knew we were going to miss the majority of the cocktail hour for photos. Although we couldn't try all the food, our guests keep telling us that the food was amazing! We couldn't have imagined a better wedding day!

I have been talking with Dana about a potential event. She is knowledgable, friendly, professional and calm. She is also very quick to respond and a general pleasure to work with.
