17We have been with them since our MD went there, he has since left.they way we my children and i have been treated is reprehensible.i have spoken with the manager and it is still the same.you can tell its "just a job" to the people in the front. As a RN myself I would NEVER treat or standby and allow the treatment of others like they do there at the PEDIATRIC facility. Getting an appointment GOOD luck. However thats what we get when we continue to support this.silence is compliance.i would give it a lower rating however at least neither of my kids died due to anyone's incomitance.yet.anyone have any good recommendations?
The wait is horrible. First waited 30 minutes after my appointment started before being checked for vitals. I asked if this wait is common and was told things happen (this was the response from the front desk). When I went to get my vitals done, I asked the nurse and was told not usually, there was an issue with the previous patient which caused a delay. I then asked if the doctor will be in or will it be another wait and was told the doc will be right in. It’s been another 30 minutes and no doctor. We’re going on over an hour now waiting. Time to fine another endocrinologist. I do not recommend.
2nd time here in 2 weeks.
Had to cancel my Sono last week. Came today and am waiting over a half hour for my appointment.
Went to desk and all they can say it's a diagnostic day. THEN DONT OVER SCHEDULE! My time is just as important as the next person! So fed up with this place.
This is the worst place to go for ANY tests. I have been to the Radiology as well as the Orthopedic department and the waiting time is completely ridiculous.
Beautiful building. Some staff can have an attitude but most are nice. Not too long wait for doctor appt. Recommend.
The nurses and staff were so sweet and amazing however when I brought my mother in for her colonoscopy, with Dr. David Gabbaizadeh my mother was asking a few questions to ensure that she understood him correctly and in the middle of her sentence he said that she was “just repeating herself” and that the nurse will answer instead and stormed out. He didn’t say goodbye or that he hopes she feels better. He just became frustrated by her questions and rudely stormed out while she was still talking to him. I was so taken aback from how abrupt, unprofessional, and uncaring a doctor treating my own mother acted right in front of me. It shook me to my core.
I have been a patient for quite a few years and I have never been so awfully treated as I have been through the doctor and staff on 10/10/22 for my 11 physical booked more than a month ago. I called twice telling them I was going to be late and I was 5 minutes late past grace period because of traffic from Stony Brook that they refused to see me. I would never ever recommend there treatment facilities because you are a number not a patient! No stars should be given but it would not let me give a comment without giving a star. Staff does not care at all! Just a number!
Run away from this group.i joined them for a midwife that ended up not working when I finally got admitted then got their male obgyn who gloated about drugging women to get their babies out of them faster and when I refused to let him deliver my natural labor the medical practice refused to treat me after birth. I bled for 6 Months after causing Sheehan syndrome causing me to miscarry after my healthy daughter. Which lead me to having issues breastfeeding and causing my daughter to have failure to thrive.the Dr's don't watch out for the moms here only the babies
Appointments are always an hour behind and the receptionist don't care that you had your time wasted
LOVE NYU - the doctors and staff are amazing.professional, thoughtful, supportive and kind. Trying to change all of my doctors over to NYU.
Can’t get an appointment with any provider when you have sharp pain in your side and a a previous fever with no known cause. Health care has gone down the drain.
Leslie Bredes- nurse practioner- emailed me to say my pharmacy was sent my prescription. It was not. Did she lie? Or make a mistake? In either case, this is an incompetent way to treat a patient.
I gave 2 stars because I like the other doctors I've seen at this medical group.
Ever since I switched to NYU Langone, I’ve had nothing but positive vibes from everyone there. From ob/gyn to pediatricians to family medicine, etc. Everyone is very communicative and everything is very organized with their NYU Langone app. I love this doctors office.
I highly recommend considering a different provider/office. Second time having a horrible, poor experience with the front desk and scheduling.
As a new patient of Dr. Gutman's I have to say not only is Dr. Gutman a very nice, professional and caring Dr. I have to give his entire staff at NYU Langone in Huntington 5 STARS. Everyone from the front desk, PA's, office staff on the phone have been nothing but professional, caring and an absolute pleasure to work with.
I will say as a new patient however, I was required to go to NYU Radiology for a set of new MRI's as my previous Neuro retired and Dr. Gutman wanted new scans.
I went to the Lake Success office for my MS MRI's - I was treated so poorly from the second I walked in the door - The instructions were to just bring my scans on a CD - which I did.
Checked in online so I was good to go. I enter the office and approached the receptionist - ZERO eye contact not even a Hello.ok then she tells me I have to give my CD to the woman in the Medical Records Department - sitting 5 ft away from her. This woman (I really wish I had her name but she wouldn't give it to me) was the rudest person I ever met.she should be working in a BASEMENT! She had no clue if I was there for a broken bone or a more serious condition like MS. I was told to bring a CD - Not the reports.she scolded me twice for not following the proper directions? I'll spare you the rest of the disturbing events.
When I called Dr. Gutman's office to relay the story.they inform me she has full access to Zwinger's patient portal and I did exactly what the Dr.asked for just the CD"s! (they apologized for her poor unprofessional behavior). So WHY embarrass me in front of a room filled with patient's waiting for their appointments. If you have the opportunity to meet this woman with the long dark hair.do yourself a favor and just feel sorry for her - she clearly hates her job and that's just sad!
I just went to Dr Solomon for 4 shots in my neck to help relieve pain. First I want to say that he did a good job. However, he and his assistant show no compassion and no empathy for the fear and pain I was experiencing during the procedure. Not one kind word from either one to help ease or comfort me. When the procedure was finished I wasn’t even sure that I was supposed to leave. Neither of them said a kind word. I had to ask if I should leave. Bedside manner may not be a priority for some but it is to me. I am kind and never rude. I had tears coming down my cheeks and neither one of you spoke to me to reassure me. I will never go back to that office.
They need more handicapped accessible parking spaces. Parking is not ideal most days you must circle parking lot to get a space. When the valet service was available it was still tough but you had the option to let them park
