9 Lyuda Nasteka had purchased a Pre-Plan.
Upon her death only a few questions remained. Bob gently guided Galyna Nasteka (Lyuda’s sister) and me thru the few details.
Bob also arranged to have a Priest provide a very meaningful service with Lyuda’s body present.
I have been to this facility several times in my lifetime with extended family members. Now that it is time for me to arrange services versus attend one. The person I spoke with was either unskilled in her job or incapable of providing compassion for someone who is looking for a service for a loved one who has passed. Seemed to care only about all of things they don't do and was unclear on reasons why or provide any help. If they treat the living this way, I am not sure I would want the deceased there either.
The staff was amazing, and especially during this difficult time of the new normal with Covid. They were able to give my Aunt a proper service, and it gave my family & I such peace of mind that her life was celebrated properly.
The service we received from the staff at the OB Davis funeral home in Port Jefferson Station was excellent. Everyone was very accommodating and made this experience manageable. Thank you to all.
I Recently lost my father in law the beginning of January 2020. It was a horrible heartache on everyone. I want to thank Cindy and all of the staff For comforting us and helping us make very important decisions. Cindy explained to us everything in detail. Cindy is a very loving and caring person and I want to thank you for helping us make all of our decisions at a very difficult time in our lives. I want to thank the whole entire staff of OBD funeral parlours. The flowers where so beautiful. All the Roses lasted for weeks. They where truly the prettiest Roses I have ever seen.
This place looks and is first class. Ms. Cavorti, James Hammer and the entire staff is dedicated to the families they serve. Emulating the funeral homes quiding principles of Respect, Integrity, Service Excellence and Enduring relationships.
Every staff member was more wonderful than the next. All were helpful, professional and kind. The interior/exterior were in pristine condition and very inviting. This is the third member of my family that has passed through here. I would recommend you to all my friends!
They handled my 75 y.o. Mother-in-law very well, made her look natural for the identification. My husband and his brothers appreciated their care and handling of her remains.
