The pharmacists are knowledgeable, friendly and always go out of their way to be helpful to their clients. I highly recommend Oak Park Pharmacy.

I made an appointment for my second booster and they turned me away even though I had a diagnosis letter from my doctor and hospital. They rudely explained to me I needed a letter directly from my doctor with my name and approval to get my second booster shot. But clearly my diagnosis letter had both my name and my doctors name along with diagnosis. I promptly went to CVS were I got my booster right away.

I've been wanting to write a review of Oak Park Pharmacy for a few years and have finally gotten around to it.:) I've lived in Vermont for the past 18 months, but prior to that I lived in Windsor Terrace for nearly 10 years and used Oak Park as my pharmacy. Jack, whom I believe is the head pharmacist, is incredibly knowledgeable, informative, patient, friendly, and kind - in short, he's hands-down the best pharmacist I've ever had. All of the other pharmacists and staff were also wonderful. I miss this pharmacy and wish something comparable existed here in Vermont!

Got my booster shot here. Even though it was a bit busy, everyone was so friendly and helpful. My visit from walking in to getting my shot took less than 10 minutes.

Came in for a walk-in flu shot. Great, easy experience! Friendly staff and very convenient location. Recommended!

EDIT: I called the pharmacy and the customer service was wonderful. They are refunding my money and will appeal to my insurance company. They explained that 99.9 percent of the time, any insurance will cover these vaccinations so that’s why I received the vaccine before they contacted my insurance company. Everyone was really nice.
Beware! I stopped in for a flu shot today, they collected my health insurance cards and proceeded to give me the vaccine. THEN they tell me it’s not covered by my insurance so I had to pay out of pocket, something I’ve never done as I have excellent insurance. Apparently, this pharmacy does not participate in my plan. Fine, but tell me so I can go to CVS or another participating pharmacy

I have been coming here for years. I now live in Inwood, and STILL come here for my RX's, why would I change? They ALWAYS have my medications, when I first started taking something for migraines, they informed me of the side effects, as well as some other tips to manage migraine symptoms. The whole team knows their stuff! And they are efficient! And they are FRIENDLY!
In this current crisis, I worry for small businesses. One bad month could be the difference between opening your doors and shutting them permanently. We as New Yorkers cannot let this happen! SUPPORT YOUR SMALL BUSINESSES! During this time, I really hope we don't all get lazy and used to ordering everything from Amazon. Get out and keep the TRUE economy going, and that is small business.
I called on Monday to get my prescription filled. A lovely, calm voice answered, even though I know she had probably spent the morning, and the week before, being overrun with requests and frantic questions, etc. She never made me feel rushed, never came off as frazzled, which I would find completely forgivable, and just told me when to come by, and wished me a nice day. This is what we need! PLEASE SUPPORT ALL YOUR LOCALS! This would NOT HAPPEN at a Duane Reade/Walgreen/CVS whatever. No offense to the people who work there, but those are corporations whose answer to a corporate board. You are not their first priority. At Oak Park, I always feel I, the customer, am their number one priority. And they have a great selection of other things, too! Can't beat the location for convenience. This place is the best! Stay safe, all.

Cannot recommend Oak Park highly enough. I love the staff and Mohammed so much that I travel out of my way to go to them. They know me by sight, are so kind and fill prescriptions faster than anywhere else. They also look out for you and apply coupons and advocate with insurance to get prescriptions covered. On the random occasion they needed to order something special for me, they got it within 24 hours, as opposed to CVS who had nearly a week long wait.
