OASIS VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT, Lake George NY

I’m so happy they opened back up again, my friends and I have been waiting since 2019! We love it here and the food is amazing! The owner is lovely as well! Please support them!

This was a hidden gem for me. Accidentally discovered this place. The staff was very very courteous. We were waiting for about 15min for the order to be taken and the. Another 45 min for the order to be placed in front of me. There was a big group that came just before us and we totally understand the delay. But the staff was apologizing for that so many times. We ordered a pho and some curry chicken. The chicken feel too bland and dry but the pho and the curry were really tasty. Definitely do check this place out if you are in the area.

Omg the food here is amazing. So good. Best food ever. People are great here. Food came at fast. Great price. I will not going anywhere else for vietnamese food. Super nice and clean. A lot of food for a great price.

Food is good, price is high, service is crazy slow but servers are attentive and very nice. Be ready for your order to be taken 20 min after you sit down (though they did warn us before hand given that it's labor day weekend), another 20 min before appetizers shows up and 45 min after for your entrees to arrive. Overall a good close by place for Vietnamese food if you can stomach the wait.

This is definitely the Millennium Falcon of restaurants in the Lake George region: she may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. A small shop located right off of Route 9 and directly in front of a rather forlorn looking motel, to say that Oasis Vietnamese Restaurant lacks curb appeal would be bold understatement. With that being said, I'd rather a restaurant focus on their food than ensuring the place is Instagramable, thus the five star rating.
For our visit, I had the Beef Special Pho while my wife had the Bun Cha Gio and Thit Nuong. The broth in my pho was flavored beautifully, clearly slow simmered allowing all of the spices to intermingle perfectly. The bowl was filled generously with three different kinds of beef and noodles, with the standard pho accoutrements served on the side for me to add as I wished. As delicious as the pho was, my wife's vermicelli dish was even better. The seasoned pork was the standout star in the dish, but all of the ingredients were delicious. With a bubble tea and and Thai tea to wash it all down, this was our best dinner in Lake George this summer. When you add in the friendly service, the Oasis has cemented itself as a regular stop on our visits to the area in the future.

Authentic Vietnamese food! Very friendly staff. You won’t find better Pho anywhere else in the area.

Everything was delicious. Had summer rolls, two types of pho (beef special and brisket), and two chicken entrees. Service was fast and friendly. Great addition to Lake George.

Stopped here for dinner and tried the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) listed under their specialties. Beef was completely dry and had absolutely no flavor as if it had been boiled all day. Was not spicy at all either.
Complained about the quality and they simply said sorry and offered no remedy or explanation. Only time I ever ate at a restaurant and didn't finish my meal. No flavor at all just a watery bowl of rice noodles. Very disappointing, never coming back, will never recommend anyone come here.
Came here because Sushi Yoshi was also a big disappointment, looks like they aren't any good asian cuisine restaurants at all in Lake George.

My family and I had the opportunity to experience Vietnamese cuisine for the first time at Oasis Vietnamese Restaruant in Lake George.and WOW, it was amazing.
The restaurant was clean. Decorations were very nice and felt an authentic quality to the establishment.
Being our first time experiencing Vietnamese Cuisine, the waitress went out of her way to explain their menu selections in detail.
We went with the Chicken Dumpling, and Spring rolls as appetizers. And they did not disappoint! The spring rolls were flavorful and the peanut sauce was excellent. My son who is extremely picky on what he eats, loved the chicken dumplings and wanted more!
Our main course was the Specialty Full Beef Soup and the Spicy Beef Soup. They were above expectations. The house sauces offered added that little extra which put the meals over the top.
And to finish it off, the Bubble teas were perfect.
We would highly recommend to all. Thank you for a great experience and we cant wait "PHo" some Mo!

Awesome food! Great prices! Awesome environment, decor was beautiful, waitress was on point, nd the music was great! This place was seriously a vibe! Go here!

We had a very bad experience.

My wife noticed hair in the vegetables, we politely showed to the waitress and asked that the dish be re-served. 5 mins later the owner comes over claiming that the hair is not theirs, confused - we stated that it is not ours either and we are not eating a dish with hair in it. She said she will bring the food. 40 mins go by, when no food arrived and no one checked on us, i went to inquire what happened to the food. I was told that the owner heard we didn't want the meal? Are you serious? Why would we come to the restaurant? To sit?

I don't blame that we got hair, it is probably an accident. But, what kind of service is that? My wife had to leave hungry and with a very bad mood on our vacation. NEVER had a restaurant experience like this!

Great find around lake george. Service is 5+ stars! Clean interior, food was authentic and delicious.

This place is a gem! My daughters and I eat a lot of Vietnamese food so it was so lovely to learn this little old breakfast spot down the road was now serving our favorite cuisine! Not to mention it is a female run small business! Service was excellent and attentive, and great conversation between all of the staff, including the owner. We started out with the summer rolls, which were fresh and served with yummy peanut sauce. The Pho Tai (number 48) was amazingly flavorful and cooked traditionally. My 2 year old grand daughter had this dish and loved every spoonful! My daughters and I each had the pork and shrimp vermicelli (number 46) and were not disappointed with the amount of flavor and portion size! Viet Pho will definitely be our go to restaurant from now on.

Fantastic fresh prepared Vietnamese cuisine. Well worth the short walk from town. Highly recommended.
