O'Connor's Public House reviews
12Great place with a pub atmosphere and good spirit! Service was great and the food excellent! The burger was actually grilled and you can taste it! Just go check it out, it's a good time!
Food is what you’d expect for a pub- the 1 star rating is for the service…. I went up to the bar to pay my tab (didn’t realize I left my cash in my purse at my table) so I paid for my food and told the guy I’m coming back and needed to grab my bag…. I guess he didn’t hear me so he says something like “I don’t work for no tips u know…. ”
Anyways it was very obnoxious, won’t be back. Tips are discretionary anyways, you dropped food off at our table once…give me a break.
Casual pub with sports. Nothing great, nothing bad. Just a easy and convenient place to relax and talk over a drink.
This restaurant checks all the boxes for atmosphere and service, but the food is poor, and not offering bread with an entree is not acceptable.
This looks like a genuine Irish publick house (where we get the word pub from). But the food was not good and bread should be automatic at this price point. The service was exquisite, the atmosphere fine. Parking is paid, on street. WiFi was fast.
While the place has the appropriate atmosphere, the food was lacking, and they don't serve bread with their entrees, which is inappropriate at this price point and counter to the Irish public house theme. The chicken marsala was rubbery. They should do far better. Service was excellent.
Walked in and the place was clean and nice atmosphere. We were taken care of promptly. The drinks were great, and the food was even better! Mount Kisco itself is a quaint, nice little town and the people who live and work there all seem to be very nice. Great place!
When for lunch, sat at bar, food was good, service ok. Barmaid was more concern on chatting and serving her regular wad the feeling I got.
They didn't accept our IDs even tho they are real. Feels unprofessional and the environment was cool but being treated poorly for a 'fake' ID when it's a real ID is frustrating. They should get a scanner.
Doesn’t pass the Irish pub vibe check. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a fine dive bar that also happens to have a good menu with a few pub classics such as fish and chips, bangers, etc.but it lacks the charm and hospitality of a real Irish pub. Food was mediocre, cocktails meh. No reason to return.
I've enjoyed myself the last few times, but after this last visit I don't know how I can go back. There was a loud group at the end of the bar, one kept yelling the N word. I got upset and said something to them. I went to give the bartender a heads up and her response was "Black, white, brown, everything is offensive now. They weren't talking to you. " It was clear there wasn't any point in talking with her. I called back asking to speak to the manager and got the same person who asked why I was bringing her into it. I was looking to give her a heads up, to keep it a welcoming fun place. I never imagined the staff would be fine with it. It's disappointing.
Great vibe, the food is bananas! I got a steak quesadilla and holy hell it was delicious. Comfortably played pool and watched football with the locals, and Tommy behind the bar made sure I actually needed my DD lol, had a great time and will def be coming back to try the burger that has everyone's eyes rolling
