I have had excellent customer service with reps at OLR. When I call for information, they courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They also demonstrate compassion and kindness. My questions get answered completely. I just got off of phone with Kevon today, 7/20/23. He was exemplary. I leave this review in honor and appreciation to him and the other reps who have assisted me thru the years.

Although the wait was long to speak with a representative, as it is everywhere, I am pleased with the service provided. I was greeted with a pleasant voice, not someone that sounded as if they didn't want to be there or why did this person call. Kevon, was very patient, knowledgeable, reassuring, efficient and kind. Admittedly, I dread calling city agencies but Kevon made me believe things are getting better. When we ended the call, all the forms I needed were already in my email. Thank you Kevon.

I would like to apreciate work of rep KEVON, who is REALY dedicated to his job, and doing the right thinks.i have been retired and received madicare coverage, made enormous amount of calls, over a few month! Mr. KEVON is THE ONLY ONE who listen to whati had to say, and helped me withthe problem, plese, get more workers like mr. KEVON, and if posible to recognisehim as THE BEST WORKER! Thanks

I have been calling t his office every 15 minutes for hours. They hang up on you and Verizon comes on to call later This is our Government it’s disgusting. Hoping someone with authority to read these reviews. I can’t understand why? Covid is just an excuse. It’s 2023 3 years later ugh

Spoke with Jose Crespo, who provided me with absolutely perfect customer service. Answered my questions and made me aware of pertinent information I was not aware I needed to ask about. I feel fortunate that he was the one who answered my call.

Just waited 45 minutes on the phone for help and thankfully a young man Kevin Gorham was able to settle all our issues and get us back all the money we were owed. Thank God good workers still exist

I have tried calling the phone number on website TEN TIMES and when call is picked up they hang up immediately. Terrible customer service!

I had a very complex issue that I had previously called 20+ numbers all over the city to get information. All provided partial answers or even wrong answers for my situation. Until I called OLR and talked to Kevon. He was polite, patient, and he took the time to hear the entire story. And then he answered *all* of my questions within context of that story. I could not be more impressed with the quality of the staff at OLR. In the complex maze of information that I had to unravel, I am so thankful that there are people like Kevon and OLR who truly understand the information, and is able to convey that information clearly, and within context. Thank you again, Kevon!

Although I had waited a long time for someone to answer the phone, Yana the representative, answered all my questions. She was extremely informative, knowledgeable, professional, helpful, patient and very pleasant. She voluntarily, emailed me the form I needed to complete and also emailed me information regarding Medicare/Emblem Health. She then gave me a fax number in order for me to fax my form. About 5 minutes after I faxed over the paper work, she called to inform me she received my paperwork. That was so nice of her. When I spoke to her, she was more than willing to answer all my questions. I was very lucky that she had answered the phone when I had called the Dept of Labor Relations. Yana is an asset to the Dept of Labor Relations.

I work for DSNY. I sent an email with the domestic partner changes with all the proof to your office to remove my ex and her daughter from my health coverage more than a year ago and It STILL hasn't been performed. This is causing a strain on me and it's been affecting my taxes every year due to this! There is no one that picks up the phone and it's impossible to get in touch with someone! This is the WORST CITY AGENCY TO COMMUNICATE WITH, THERE'S NO WORKING PHONE NUMBER! IF I COULD GIVE IT NONE OR NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD! LOOK at all the reviews, they're HORRIFIC!

This office is a disgrace. It is run terribly. You are kept waiting on the phone and then disconnected. I am so upset. I cannot get the help that I need. This is so upsetting and not necessary

No one answers the phone at the onset of the start of their office hours and no one answers emails. They are on vacation five days a week.
CALLING 311 is no help to complaints they are just logged and the Mayor’s office and Comptroller office are of no help with your complaints

It's ashame how they treat people. They pick up the phone and hung it right up with no response. I have been waiting for my rembirstment checks May. It's Just pitiful

We called today and Joe's Crespo was excellent. He new all the answers to the questions my client had. Her husband passed away and she had so many questions. She called me and I was able to talk to Jose and salve everyone of them. Keep up the good work and training.

Horrible I have been calling now for 2 weeks! I did have some young lady pick up to just take my name and phone number, didn't want any other info? She said someone will call you back. When I do try to make these calls, it rings then pauses, then goes back and forth for about 2 minutes then busy. This is nuts. Extremely unprofessional. Just wanted to make sure they received my mail sent two months ago.
