This department is complete garbage. They don't pick up your call, they don't give you the actual damage price, they take their time to respond, they lie by saying ok my boss is in vacation right now and next time you call, they don't pick up the phone and later on they say I was in vacation. Come on registered liar, you can't play with normal people. We have so many things to do. You get paid for laying but we suffer a lot for that. You deserve 0 star.

After reading the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the treatment I received. Here’s how you get results; download the proper forms on their website, fill out the appropriate forms, have it notarized, go to Rm 1217 to have someone check the forms if this is your first time. Be patient, they are very short staffed. Proceed to Room 1225 to submit your claim (make sure you have a copy for yourself). They take the documents and date stamp them as proof of submission. I was told the process will take approximately 2-3 weeks for a response. Make sure you’re there before 5: 00pm. I’ll post updates as I get them. I also tried calling on the phone 4X and didn’t get an answer, instead, I get a recording to leave a message.

Cannot reach anybody. Noone answers the phone. Cant get a fax # either. It is terrible trying to get info.most numbers are disconnected with no further information! Horrible!

No response to phone messages, no response to emails. No response period, filed claim last June after being hit by Dept of Sanitation vehicle. Submitted all the required documentation as well as dept of sanitation police report. Why is it so hard to respond and communicate.

At the moment, I am still waiting to get a message back from the Man named Sammy. I spoke with over there at the office on 4/26/2021. I am working on a case where I almost lost my life in a hospital with many negative reviews. I was assaulted. And I fear for my life right now that’s why I decided to come here. I constantly have to look over my shoulders because I’m concerned I’ll be surrounded by the workers at the hospital and attacked again this time losing my life. I hope, I get a message soon from Sammy. Something needs to be done. This is not right. It’s completely WRONG what occurred in the hospital that night on June and I want Justice. I am not the only victim over there. Currently, I am representing myself and my own case. I need compensation for what occurred that night in the hospital where a Muslim was in charge of the workers around me.

As tax payer I deserve to get more respect they ignore you when you call they laughing nobody care they tell you they have people waitin. For 5 years they make me almost lost my job After the fDny hit my car a lot stress dealing with those people

What’s we do if we need help? I try múltiples times call I sending mail and I still not received any answer. Get you lawyer next step those people don’t help nobody.

This office has not been helpful at all, I have tried to contact the department in order to acquire a certificate of residency, even went down there in person and I cannot get a hold of anybody. The phone numbers provided do not work and no one from the so called department responds too the emails, it’s just absurd.

Those people DEFINITELY DONT LIKE TO WORK. No phone, email, letter NOTHING. They don’t respond.

Phone, Email, In-Person, non of these work. Phone line is always off never reply to email, office is always closed. I get that COVID is still around, then why no phone call or email? Worst NYC office. Well Done.
